Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on July 3, 2025July 3, 2025 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 MIKI MADE MONTY (9) was well-backed first-up and made light of the back row draw to win easily against inferior opposition. He goes up in class tonight and is drawn poorly but should still give a great sight. LADY CAMEL (5) has improved in her three starts this time in and is drawn inside her main rivals. MALAKIE (12) was impressive in recording back-to-back victories before working too hard in the run in his latest effort but can bounce back. GOODTIME LOUIS (8) wasn’t suited in the breeze against better opposition here last week but can play a part with some luck. Tips: 9 5 12 8 Suggested Bet: LADY CAMEL (5) each way. Race 2 SOHO MOONRAKER (6) almost crossed here last week before getting shuffled back to midfield when a solid 5th in a stronger field. He looks a chance to find the front here and will be hard to beat if he can take up that role. ONESMARTFELLA (2) attempted to lead throughout but was a well-beaten 4th here last week but can figure here with a softer run. SWAGGER MAN (12) is in the zone with wins at his last two starts and will be charging home again. MY WATCHLIST (8) will run a big race if he can get to the breeze without doing too much work. Tips: 6 2 12 8 Suggested Bet: SOHO MOONRAKER (6) to win. Race 3 WHATARETHEODDS (5) has finished just behind the placegetters in stronger fields at his last two starts and will be hard to beat here if he gets the right run in transit. DARK EYES (4) has led and been placed at his last two starts and will appreciate a drop in class here. HAVEYOUMETTED (3) led throughout to defeat a similar field three starts back and the scratching brings him into a nice barrier. TWOBOB CRACKER (1) has been racing predominantly in stands but can figure from the pole. Tips: 5 4 3 1 Suggested Bet: WHATARETHEODDS (5) to win. Race 4 GEE HEZA SPORT (3) is a classy type resuming from a short break and is clearly the one to beat from his nice draw. ARMA XFACTOR (1) holds the key to the race as he has the option to sit on the favourite or hold him out and take his chances in front. Shouldn’t be far away under either scenario. BRICKIES DREAM (10) will enjoy a nice run on the pegs and looks a great place chance. MIGHTY RONALDO (7) will find it almost impossible if GEE HEZA SPORT (3) finds the front but becomes a winning chance if that doesn’t eventuate. Tips: 3 1 10 7 Suggested Bet: GEE HEZA SPORT (3) to win. Race 5 OUR SANDY SHORE (1) raced extremely well last time in before doing things wrong at her last two starts before going for a spell. Her recent trial win was sound but it looked like she was short of her best so we are hoping she has come on in the two weeks since that effort. PETES HONOUR (2) is racing well and looks a major player from his nice barrier. LOUIE DIOR (5) hasn’t had much luck this time in and will be charging home. THELITTLE MASTER (10) looks a great place chance following the polemarker. CABERNEIGH (8) is drawn poorly but can’t be overlooked. Tips: 1 2 5 10 Suggested Bet: OUR SANDY SHORE (1) to win. Race 6 HEAVENLY GIPSY (5) couldn’t get into the race last start but a repeat of her previous three efforts when leading will make her extremely hard to beat here. LITTLE DARLING (9) is the obvious danger and is flying but the draw makers it tough. STARLIGHT DREAM (6) will win one of these races when there is a really strong tempo but that doesn’t look likely tonight. NASE VIRA (7) won three of her last four starts before going for a spell and must be respected but she would want to be near her top to beat this field. Tips: 5 9 6 7 Suggested Bet: HEAVENLY GIPSY (5) to win. Race 7 LAST HARD COPY (10) has won four of his five starts this time in and should add one more to that tally tonight. INTO THE FUTURE (1) is an extremely consistent type and looks the most likely quinella prospect. BASINGHALL (2) has been placed in his last three starts and should be thereabouts again. BY ROYAL COMMAND (7) needs luck from out here but he did run 2nd to INTO THE FUTURE (1) two starts back. Tips: 10 1 2 7 Suggested Bet: LAST HARD COPY (10) to win. Race 8 FAT LOUIE (12) was beaten a long way when. 3rd to Franco Motu at his first run back from a spell but he worked hard in the final lap and this looks a winnable assignment. HOLD THE AMMO (8) won his last two starts before running a solid 3rd to Franco Motu in a recent trial and has the turn of foot to overcome the wide draw. FRANCO MECCA (1) has been unplaced in his last seven starts but looked sharper here last week and can play a part from the pole. BEAT THE BANK (5) should be at his peak now and drops in class but is awkwardly drawn. Tips: 12 8 1 5 Suggested Bet: FAT LOUIE (12) to win. Race 9 LIVY ANN (4) was placed in all four starts without winning in her first campaign and resumes here without a trial but her form lines looks stronger than her opposition so monitor the betting. CRUNCHNSIP (3) was a solid 3rd on debut and should make her presence felt here. DROP THE ACE (2) finished 2nd in that event and has very good gate speed. LITTLE CHINA GIRL (7) lost form towards the end of her first campaign and her first-up effort didn’t inspire but she does have ability. Tips: 4 3 2 7 Suggested Bet: LIVY ANN (4) to win. Race 10 ISEEUBABY (1) over-raced in front but was still too strong when a 1.54.8 winner at her last start and should repeat the dose but the extra distance may be a concern if she over races again. DIAMONDSAREFOREVER (6) is consistent and will be charging home if the race is run to suit. SHOOBEES DOUBLE (2) will enjoy a lovely run and looks a great place chance. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (7) has been racing well but she has a tough draw to overcome. Tips: 1 6 2 7 Suggested Bet: ISEEUBABY (1) to win. Market Market
