Warren Huntly’s Saturday Flemington Preview Posted on July 3, 2025July 3, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 BACASH resumed with an impressive maiden victory over 1200m and should prove hard to catch. JOB DONE looked good winning on debut over 1000m and gives the impression 1200m will suit. STREET ARTIST has jumped out well for his debut. JIMMY RECARD looked strong winning his maiden over 1100m and should relish the step up to 1200m. Selections: 1,4,7,3 Suggested Bet: Bacash to win Race 2 BUCCLEUCH gets up in the weights but looks highly promising and gives the impression 1600m will suit. ARCORA chased well behind Buccleuch first up and will appreciate stepping up in trip. BAYOU MUSIC broke the maiden in good style last time and is another that should appreciate 1600m. DEKKA’S LATEST was ok behind Bayou Music and will be better for that debut run. Selections: 1,3,2,5 Suggested Bet: Buccleuch to win Race 3 MARBLE NINE is in great form, has a race fitness advantage on a few and goes well down the straight. INHIBITIONS won a Group 3 to end her most recent campaign and has trialled well to resume. JOYFUL FORTUNE goes well down the straight and has trialled nicely. PEREILLE will be strong late. Selections: 2,4,1,3 Suggested Bet: Marble Nine each way Race 4 FROM A DISTANCE didn’t have the best of luck here last time and looks a good each way hope in a race of a few chances. KNOBELAS has impressed at her last two and should prove hard to run down. WINNING TOAST had been dominant on the Ballarat synthetic and stuck on bravely after a wide run in a key lead up race. EVERAIN has returned in good form and looks capable of measuring up to another rise in grade. DARKBONEE was strong though the line the key lead up race mentioned previously and is right in the game. Selections: 6,9,7,3 Suggested Bet: From A Distance each way Race 5 Competitive race. GOLDENSTATEWARRIOR gets a weight swing on BOLD SOUL for their last meeting and both have strong claims again. The wetter the better for CAPTAIN ELECTRIC, who will strip fitter on the back up. VIRTUOUS CIRCLE hit the line strongly behind Bold Soul last start. FAME backs up and is capable of improving. Selections: 8,4,10,3 Suggested Bet: Goldenstatewarrior each way Same Race Multi: Goldenstatewarrior (Top 2) + Bold Soul (Top 4) Race 6 SHE’S AN ARTIST has been most impressive at her two starts to date and 1200m should be ok. FIELDELO had also been impressive since her run behind She’s An Artist and looks suited stepping up to this trip. BRIDAL WALTZ, SUPERCILIOUS SAVAGERY VIBE, and SOFT LOVE are in the mix for multiple bet types. Selections: 5,8,2,6 Suggested Bet: She’s An Artist to win Race 7 SHOCKLETZ seems to handle all track conditions and gives the impression she’ll relish the rise to this trip. VELLASMACHINE was an eye catching run in the same race as Shockletz and also gives the impression he’ll be suited by the rise in distance. CHAMPAGNE JENNI had excuses behind Shockletz two starts back and chased well when ridden more conservatively last start. POLITELY DUN has had a busy prep but goes well here and likes it wet. Selections: 2,9,10,1 Suggested Bet: Shockletz to win Race 8 OH TOO GOOD got the right run to score here last time but arguably her two best performances have been here over 1600m. JIMMY THE BEAR is in great form but meets Oh Too Good worse at the weights for his defeat by her two starts back. HUGHES is unknown at 1600m but is in great form for the new stable. CAFE MILLENIUM has returned in terrific form for the new stable and looks suited stepping up to 1600m third up. YELLOW SAM is another unknown at 1600m but has returned in great form and backs up from a strong win last week. Selections: 10,3,11,13 Suggested Bet: Oh Too Good to win Race 9 STYLISH has returned in great form, she atoned for a luckless run two starts back with an impressive win last start and looks hard to beat again. FIRE OF ETNA won well here first up, she’ll strip fitter and maps for a good run. MOLLYNICKERS was strong through the line from back in the field last time and may settle closer from a low draw. CINDY FALLS and TERRASTAR have claims. Selections: 5,2,3,7 Suggested Bet: Stylish to win Market Market
