Race 1

OUR STAR BILLING (1) led throughout to defeat Black Jack Baby four starts back and ran 2nd to the same filly here recently. She looks the leader from the pole and will be very hard to catch against this line-up. STAR FOR ME (10) is drawn to trail her stablemate and looks a great place chance on her recent form. RONA MAY (2) is yet to miss a place in her four career starts and can be in the money again. DIAMOND DAZE (7) led throughout to record a solid victory on Monday but isn’t as well drawn tonight.

Race 2

ALTA INTRIGUE (5) has finished 2nd in four of his last five outings and is close to breaking back into the winners’ list. He ran on well to finish 2nd to Alta Engen in a stronger field last week and is clearly the one to beat. THE CODE BREAKER (9) won three on end before running on well to finish 6th here last week and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. LITTLE BITOF FUN (10) hasn’t had much luck at his last two starts and can improve here. TRULEYLUCKY (1) was held up here last week and can play a part from the pole.

Suggested Bet: ALTA INTRIGUE (5) to win.

Race 3

THEREUGO (2) led throughout here five starts back but hasn’t been able to find the front in his subsequent runs. He looks the leader here and will give them something to catch. SPACE JUNK (12) has looked back to his best at his last two starts but goes to the back line here. HENWOOD BAY (4) was a good winner here last week and will be dangerous again if he gets the right run. MEDIEVAL MAN (5) was a strong winner from the breeze here last week and is ready for the rise in class.

Suggested Bet: THEREUGO (2) each way.

Race 4

PERFECT MAJOR (10) faced the breeze and battled on well when 2nd to Minstrel here last week. He is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be dangerous if he sees daylight at the right time. VAMPIRO (9) led throughout in slick time here last week and will be hard to beat if he finds the top again. AL GUERRERO (1) is a noted frontrunner who steps up in class but should play a part from his pole draw. PATRONUS STAR (7) has chased home stablemates at his last two starts and will be charging home again.

Suggested Bet: PERFECT MAJOR (10) each way.

Race 5

ALTA LOUISA (7) has faced the breeze for strong wins at both starts this time in and is the one to beat again. MISS LIMELIGHT (1) had no luck here last week but was placed in her previous three starts and should give a great sight from the pole. BETTOR GET IT ON (2) ran on well to just miss when 2nd to ALTA LOUISA (7) here last week and should be right in the finish again. ALICE KAY (4) hasn’t been able to breakthrough for a win in WA but is capable with the right run.

Suggested Bet: ALTA LOUISA (7) to win.

Race 6

CARRERA MACH (1) has improved in each of his four runs back from a spell and looks capable of breaking back into the winners’ circle from this draw. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (6) was a strong winner here two starts back before having no luck last week and looks the main danger. MACHS GOLD (3) and DESTINED TO RULE (4) were both held up in that event as well and are capable of figuring in the finish with luck in running.

Suggested Bet: CARRERA MACH (1) to win.

Race 7

MANDY JOAN (1) led but knocked up late when finishing near the rear at her last start. She looks likely to get an easier time in front tonight and appeals as the one to beat. EUPHORIC MOMENT (5) drops in class for this assignment and can make his presence felt. FREE TO AIR (2) should get a lovely run on the back of the favourite and is always a place chance from that position. BLOCKJORG (7) continues to battle wide draws but her last two efforts have been full of merit.

Suggested Bet: MANDY JOAN (1) to win.

Race 8

ROBBIE EASTON (5) has been unplaced at his past nine starts but his last-start 5th was good enough to win a race of this nature. SALEAHS COMMAND (1) trialled fairly for his return and has the speed to lead this field for a long way. DISCO UNDER FIRE (7) isn’t at his top but still must be considered in this company. MISS CAMOUFLAGE (8) drops in class and can be placed at odds.

Suggested Bet: ROBBIE EASTON (5) to win.

Race 9

WONDERFUL TO FLY (6) has won seven of her 13 career starts and is clearly the one to beat despite the wide draw. SEVEN NO TRUMPS (5) sprinted brilliantly to win here at his last start and looks the obvious danger. HOKULANI (1) is an improving type who has been placed in two of her last three starts and shouldn’t be far away from the pole. HOPPYS WAY (4) led when a close-up 3rd to SEVEN NO TRUMPS (5) at his last start and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (6) to win.
