The Scout: NBA Best Bets Posted on August 25, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Utah Jazz vs Denver Nuggets Donovan Mitchell is unstoppable. At least if those tasked to stop him reside within the Denver Nuggets roster. Mitchell went off for 51 points last game and Utah are averaging 125 points per contest this series. Mike Conley had himself a game also, going for 26 points and showing the potential this backcourt has when both players are on. Denver are on the brink of being knocked out and I have no reason to believe they will relish that challenge or the pressure that comes with it. Perhaps most worrying is that a combined 79 points from Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic last game still wasn’t enough to get them the win. Suggested Bet: Utah by 7 or More (Winning Margin 3-way) @ $2.40* Dallas Mavericks @ LA Clippers Luka Doncic sunk the Clippers in Game 4 with an incredible buzzer beater, tying the series at 2-2. Doncic has been the best player across these four games, ahead of even the reigning Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard. With Doncic at the helm, Dallas have played fantastic basketball, combining elite ball movement and shooting to stun the Clippers. They were able to win Game 4 without Porzingis, who remains questionable for this clash. One of the big stories has been the poor play of Paul George. The Clipper wing has been icing his troublesome shoulder between plays in a big sign that all is not right with him. If he can’t get back to his normal level (and it doesn’t look good), I’m not sure the Clippers have enough in reserve to match it with Dallas here, or for the rest of this series. Suggested Bet: Dallas (Head to Head) @ $2.95* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 25th August 2020. Market Market
