The Scout: EPL Week 36 Posted on May 6, 2022May 6, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Chelsea vs Wolverhampton Chelsea are three points clear in third place on the table but will be desperate for a win after an extremely disappointing 1-0 loss to Everton last matchday. Wolverhampton (8th) have had a strong season but look to be running on fumes having lost their last three matches. With a (relatively) safe buffer down to Arsenal and Tottenham, Chelsea will be looking to bounce-back and find some form as they prepare for the FA Cup Final against Liverpool later in the month. The FA Cup is their only chance at silverware this season, and they will need a spike in form to take it from one of the world’s best in Liverpool. Wolves have little to play for at this late stage of the season, and it shows. They have failed to score in their last three matches and finding goals against Chelsea will not be an easy feat for their struggling attack. Suggested Bet: Chelsea Win to Nil @ $1.93* Leicester City vs Everton Leicester (11th) have had a so-so season, will finish mid-table, and have not had a win in their last four matches. Everton (18th) are closing in on arguably their worst ever Premier League season and all eyes will be on their fight to avoid relegation. Everton were last relegated in the 1950-51 season and they are currently two points behind 17th placed Burnley. They’ve taken seven points from their last four matches, including a win over Chelsea last weekend, but their work is far from done. Everton have it all to play for here and Leicester have very little. These sides met recently for a 1-1 draw, and I think Everton get maximum points this time around. Suggested Bet: Everton to Win @ $3.10* Arsenal vs Leeds United Arsenal (4th) strengthened their grip on a top four finish with an important 2-1 win over West Ham last weekend. Only two points separate them and Tottenham, making every match a must-win if they wish to compete in the Champions League next season. Leeds (17th) are just two points clear of 18th placed Everton which also puts them in a must-win situation. They were belted 4-0 last matchday by Manchester City, but had two wins and two draws from their last four matches before that. Arsenal are playing an exciting brand of football, pushing the ball forward at every opportunity. They’ve scored nine goals in their last three matches (against good opposition) and should have too much firepower for a desperate Leeds outfit. Suggested Bet: Arsenal Win & Both Teams to Score @ $2.85* *Odds correct as at 4pm, 4th May 2022. Market Market
