Race 1

HER PRESENCE (4) looks a decent chance in this but wouldn’t want to be diving in too short, she can do some work in her races but also looks a bit one paced and will have to keep rolling. OFFICIAL ROCK (3) is a chance to burn across and has options from there, her form has been solid since coming in off a freshen up, deserves a win. LORD TITANIUM (12) was looking for a run on Monday and falls into the one paced category, looks a chance to overcome the draw and get into the money. SUGAR STREET (1) draws well and looks to lurk around the novelties with BET ON THE RIVER (2), CEE DEE THREE (8), SUN PUBLISHER (10) and FLYING RUMOUR (11) who jumps back up to metro grade after a recent win.

Suggested Bet: OFFICIAL ROCK (3) each way.

Race 2 (Best Bet)

MAJOR EXPRESS (5) has good early speed and looks set to burn across and try and lead, looks very hard to beat in this either leading or breezing. TROUBADOUR (3) isn’t known for his early brilliance and can be a stressful watch for favourite punters, will be around the mark but always makes hard work of it. PRINCE OF TRIBECA (2) is ideally drawn and could lead early and settle close enough and be a place chance. INSTA GATOR (9) can overcome the draw and get into the money. TURBO JAY (4) will be settling close enough and looks more of a novelty chance in this with CAPTAIN SAID SO (10).

Suggested Bet: MAJOR EXPRESS (5) to win.

Race 3

SPITFIRE (2) will be looking to hold the advantage, gets out the gate ok and form has been solid enough without being in the money, massive winning chance if he could hold a forward position and lead this. RUMBLE STRIP (5) is a likely improver here; he looked all at sea at certain points last run and must be respected as a big improver. ULTIMATE MIKI (8) may ask some questions of the inside runners with their toughness, was driven conservatively last run but think he will be more aggressive in this. LOU LAMOUR (1) nicely drawn and is a novelty chance but do prefer him at a shorter trip and other novelty hopes to SEBASTIAN JAMES (6) and HOLD THE AMMO (7).

Suggested Bet: SPITFIRE (2) to win.

Race 4

DELIGHTFUL PEG (3) has the draw advantage again and was unbelievable with a scintillating win in good time last Friday, looks the likely leader and hard to go past in this. COPY CAT QUEEN (11) was phenomenal in defeat after doing the work, back row draw is a massive negative and the map looks tricky, but she has proven herself to be one of the best mares in the state. BEETASTIC (1) has been flying, made ground last time and the draw suits, looks a solid place chance. PENNY BLACK (7) looks likely to be in the breeze doing her usual attack, she will stick on well, but this will be a significant challenge on her. LITTLE DARLING (10) finally gets a draw and must be respected as novelty chance, will get home well. FAKENIT (2) faces a tricky draw, could end up with a challenging map.

Suggested Bet: BEETASTIC (1) to place.

Race 5

RUNKLE CRUNCH (3) has the draw advantage and looks hard to beat if he can hold the top early, he has been beginning better off the arm and that will be where the race is won or lost for mine, I am confident he can do enough to hold the challengers. The other theory is that MAD MONDAY (6) has crossed him before and could have the benefit of REINETTE (4) trying to ping out who is an exceptional beginner, if she crossed, she would hand up to MAD MONDAY (6) and then it would put the ball in his court, start is key to this race. LINCOLN LOU (1) has the speed to run the gate and make sure he’s likely no further back than leaders back, it’s a dangerous game of not wanting to overdo it at the longer distance. STORMY VISTA (10) has got the beautiful draw and loves following the rails and is a novelty chance. CYCLONE JORDY (9) gets a shocking draw again and his last couple have been out of character. CAPTAIN STIRLING (12), LAZI DAIS (2) and OUR CRUNCH TIME (8) novelty chances.

Tips: 3 6 1 10

Suggested Bet: RUNKLE CRUNCH (3) to win.

Race 6

MAGNIFICENT STORM (9) can fly out and looks hard to stop on his attack for the lead, he was disappointing last week but with no Minstrel in this, he is likely to return to the winners list and flex his muscles. MIGHTY RONALDO (3) gets a better draw and could be driven forward but likely to take the sit if he was tested. MAXIMUM ROCK (4) going well but bumps into the upper echelon in this. HARRISON JOHN (8) will need to be at his best early to go with Storm, his form has been first class and looks to stay all day. SWEET PINS (12) will be hoping for a lead time and will be running on strongly. HOPPYS WAY (1) hit the line well last run and has the draw advantage to get a soft run with MACHNIFICENT (10) who is a novelty chance from the draw.

Tips: 9 12 8 3

Suggested Bet: SWEET PINS (12) to place.

Race 7

FRANCO MOTU (13) comes back off a freshen up and is a highly talented pacer, he is the more versatile of the two Hall Snr runners in this and therefore gets the nod. SEASIDE POND (10) has won his last two but faces some traffic problems from the handicap and might find this a tougher challenge. FEELING ACES (1) has options with his usual safe getaway and looks a place chance. TWOBOB CRACKER (5) was a good effort last run and just needs to find a soft run close to the speed to be a place chance. ARTFUL MAJOR (14) will be running on from the back of the field and is holding good consistency.

Suggested Bet: FRANCO MOTU (13) to win.

Race 8

LION QUEEN (1) has had a few runs back from a spell and has the good draw, will be driven to try and lead this and should be getting close to her best and expect her to be hard to beat. MUNROES MATE (2) has been in mixed form since coming to WA, he can play a part but unlikely to lead which takes away a bit of the shine. OPAL HUNTER (8) needs some tempo on but is versatile and expect him to close off strongly. ELWADDELL (3) has a good draw with no back row and can settle close enough and be a novelty chance with SAIFA (4).

Tips: 1 8 2 3

Suggested Bet: LION QUEEN (1) to win.

Race 9

STELLAR EDITION (1) gets the good draw and put up a solid performance against Penny Black last time out, could have come on from that and this looks a suitable chance for her to go close, thought she would lead and run well. SISTER CHERIE (2) has come back well and has options from the draw, but her form is going to stack up nicely in this. BEACH DIAMOND (7) is capable of a forward showing, has some good early speed but may be in the breeze doing the dirty work. GRAND COUTEAU (3) will be close enough and could fly under the radar.

Suggested Bet: STELLAR EDITION (1) to win.

Race 10

MAJOR DISCO (12) drops in grade nicely into a race of this nature, he can get the job done but he won’t look pretty in doing so as he seems to be a better chaser than winner, still this is the best race he’s been in to get a well-deserved win. CHARIVARI (5) could head forward and look to try and lead; he’s been consistent and versatile in recent performances. CURADH (6) is racing well but unable to break through from bad draws or bad manners. DELULU (8) is one that could fly under the radar and has been racing well enough to feature here, worth a bet if she got out to a decent price. RAVENOUS ROMEO (3), TUBBS FARQUHAR (7) and ELITE FLEET (9) all novelty chances.
