Sully’s NRL Round 2 Preview
Wow – what a stunning dividend it proved to be in the Tip 8 for NRL Round 1, $256 per $1 unit – we missed by just 1 leg – hopefully we can go 1 better this time around. Once again there is a $10,000 Jackpot in this week’s NRL Tip 8 Pool. Head to the Sports section of the TABtouch website and click on Tote Sports to get involved.
Round 2 kicks off tonight with the Roosters taking on the Bulldogs. There is no love lost between these 2 teams so you can expect some fireworks! Across the ditch on Friday, the Warriors host their first Friday night game since 2011 when they take on the Storm. Johnson vs Cronk should equate to some serious excitement. Then all of Queensland will come to a standstill for the marquee matchup between the Brisbane Broncos and North Queensland Cowboys. The last 5 matches have been decided by less than 6 points, 3 of them going to Golden Point. Thurston up against Milford – Buckle yourself in for what should be a cracker.
Super Saturday sees the Knights, who surprised everyone last week, play host to the Titans with Kevin Proctor making his debut. The Sea Eagles take on the Rabbitohs at Lottoland in a game where both Coaches desperately need the 2 points and finally the Sharks head to the nation’s capital to take on the Raiders who look the real deal in 2017. Sunday’s fixtures pose some interesting questions : Can the West Tigers find some consistency in 2017 when they take on the Panthers who were poor last week and who will claim first blood in 2017 between arch rivals the Dragons and the Eels?
