Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 18 Posted on July 7, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan NRL Round 18 is here and with Origin 3 on Wednesday Night there are just four games to preview. It kicks off on Friday with the traditional inner-Sydney rivals clashing at Allianz Stadium. The Roosters are coming off their biggest loss of their season and are minus four players to Origin. They are up against a Rabbitohs side who had their biggest win of the season last week and they are hoping to win their third game in a row. The Panthers welcome the Sea Eagles to Pepper Stadium on Saturday and will be looking to give their fans something to cheer about after such a disappointing season so far. The Sea Eagles on the other hand have been the surprise packet of the premiership and will look to continue their 100% away record in 2017. Taking on the Melbourne Storm at home is always a daunting task but the eighth placed Eels will consider themselves lucky heading to this AAMI Park contest on Saturday night knowing the Storm Origin stars aren’t there. Parramatta can consolidate their top 8 position with a victory. Sunday sees the Bulldogs hosting the Knights in what will be Josh Reynolds’s last game at his beloved Belmore Oval before he heads to the West Tigers in 2018. Both teams and Coaches are desperate to finish season 2017 on a positive note.
