Northam Greyhounds Preview – 24 February Posted on February 23, 2016 | Posted by David Shortte SCIENCE (Race 5 Number 1): Northam specialist who has finished no further back than 3rd at his last 5 starts in similar events. Overcame early bumps last week before going on to lead all the way in a best of night time of 29.53. Placed 3 of 4 from this draw and has the early pace to shoot straight to the top in this. Should be highballing up front and they’ll have to be good to beat him from there. Hard to beat. JIMMY MARGETTS (Race 6 Number 1): Versatile campaigner who came from the box one draw over 490 metres at Mandurah 3 starts ago accounting for the smart Quartz Bale in a Best Of Night time of 27.28. Has won 2 of 4 here over the 588 metre trip and from this alley has managed 3 wins and a placing from 5 attempts. Runs into some handy types here but with the aid of the box one draw I think Jimmy can punch through into a nice position and take some stopping. ALUMINUM (Race 10 Number 4): In form sprinter who is aiming up at 4 in a row here after recent victories over 490 metres at Mandurah as well as here over the 509 metres. Last start accounted for a high quality lineup in the Canning Trophy final and three starts back here zipped around in a slick 29.55. Very hard to fault what he has been doing of late and only has to reproduce recent efforts to be getting the cash again. QUADDIE: 1267 – 13 – 178 – 124568. $50 spend = 34.72% TRIFECTA: (Race 6): 1 – 237 – field. $30 spend = 200% FIRST FOUR: (Race 4) : 18 – 18 – field – field. $30 spend = 50% Bet Now!
