NBL – New Zealand Breakers vs Adelaide 36ers Posted on January 7, 2016January 7, 2016 | Posted by Sportsbettingmax.com Friday January 8, 2.30 PM, North Shore Events Centre Auckland The Breakers are back home to welcome the Adelaide 36ers on the Friday NBL Double Header on Fox. Game rating – New Zealand 89 vs Adelaide 84 It’s the battle between the fourth and fifth rated teams in the NBL who are 1-1 in their series this season. The last time they met in New Zealand the Breakers won with a late flurry (98-88) and in Round 1 it was the 36ers too good at home (90-71). The Breakers return home after finding the heat and humidity too much for them in Cairns, losing the New Year’s Eve blockbuster (73-66) and the 36ers have won their past two games – most recently (91-81) against United at home. Prediction The Breakers have been off the boil since losing at home to the Hawks (83-107) which was followed by a lack-lustre win away, against the Kings (83-93) before losing to Cairns. The Breakers are now 4-2 SU past six games but are a healthy 5-1 at home. Adelaide have been 3-3 SU past six games and struggle away from Adelaide, being 1-5 on the road. The big difference in this game promises to be Jerome Randel who was nowhere near his best the last time both teams met. Randel versus Corey Webster promises to be a ripper. The 36ers can sneak home with the +8.5 spread. Suggested Bets Take Adelaide 36ers at the +8.5 at $1.87. Bet Now
