The Final Word: Ryan Hill (Geraldton) Posted on January 7, 2016January 7, 2016 | Posted by Julio Santarelli Race 1 Welcome In 2016 Maiden (1600m) Beach Bound (2) Trainer: Rob & Todd Harvey Last start: Ran second to Gold Invader at Narrogin when beaten a head Ryan Hill: He looks like he is knocking on the door and to me it looks like a race in two between him and Cool Fox. I had one ride for the Harvey’s last year and it won. They are not scared to travel with their horses and they are coming up here with the one horse. Race 4 Colin & Freda O’Brien’s Diamond Anniversary Maiden (1200m) Diva Sun (4) Trainer: Gary Sorensen Last start: Ran eighth to Diva Rose at York in November Ryan Hill: A handy horse and hopefully can run a race but Dynamic Express trialled really well and will be very hard to beat. Race 5 Coolina Holding Yards Handicap (1900m) Hussarik (5) Trainer: Kylie Deane Last start: Defeated Pseudo Sky over 2000m at Geraldton on December 27. Ryan Hill: It’s a step up but he has drawn a good barrier to get a soft run. We will take all the short cuts and hopefully run in the first three. Race 6 Tabtouch Handicap (1600m) Our Two Bobs Worth (10) Trainer: Tania Guy. Last start: Ran on to be placed third to Madam Kenworthy who has subsequently won again at Geraldton. Ryan Hill: This horse will be hard to beat and the form out of his last race is good. It should get a good run from the barrier and it really should look for a forward showing. Race 7 Get Well Bill Pilkington Handicap (1200m) Mr Momont (4) Trainer: Kylie Deane Last start: Strong win at Geraldton on December 27 over 1200m Ryan Hill: The horse has always promised the world and it won really easy. If he puts it together he should just win, but he has never really strung a couple together.
