Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on June 30, 2017June 30, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 30th June 2017 Race 2 – No. 3 Summer Storm SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Very impressive on debut at the track last week when finding plenty of bother on more than one occasion but still showing a will to win, making up many lengths with a powerful finish to score by a nose. Will appreciate the improved draw and looks a good winning chance. Race 3 – No. 8 West on Gaz Has plenty of ability but never much luck as seen last start over the longer 490m when finding all sorts of bother but still finishing his race off solidly for 4th. Dropping in grade and drawn one of his favourite boxes. With a little bit of luck on his side, he can top the podium in this. Race 4 – No. 5 Stockholm Good beginner who has been placed in 19 of 30 starts over this distance. He is also dropping in grade as well and while he likes to use plenty of the track, he possesses a very powerful finish. If he is close enough in the turn for home, he’ll be mighty hard to hold out at the business end. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 1st July 2017 Race 4 – No. 4 Felton Bale Classy customer who has won 5 of 9 over the trip and all in electric times. Two of those wins have been from this very draw and in this company as well. He has had a few weeks off and looks tough to beat while fresh. Race 5 – No. 4 Ashom Monelli Far too good in his return to the trip when winning by 6 lengths in 34.70. Too good again in a heat of the Mandurah Middle Distance Challenge before finding bother in the final and finishing 3rd. Capable of making amends back in town. Race 9 – No. 2 Dandalup Brutus SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Racing in terrific form again with back to back all the way wins at both Mandurah and here at headquarters, both in strong times. He is a winner in 4 of 5 in stripes and has a couple of average beginners either side of him so expect him to roll to the top and prove hard to run down.
