Race 5 – No. 2  Leanne Keeping

Multiple placegetter over similar distances in NSW. Her past 405m runs have been full of merit and she should appreciate the stepping out over longer here. Worth giving another chance.

Race 8 – No. 3  Porsche Monelli

Grade dropper who is surrounded by plenty of early pace but if he is not squeezed early, he should get a nice run in behind leaders and prove mighty hard to hold out at the business end.

Race 9 – No. 1  Sunnyside Up

Blew out the cobwebs racing midfield throughout when returning over shorter last start. Up to a more suitable trip and did lead all the way from this draw 5 starts ago in quick time.

Each Way:

Race 4 – No. 3  Buck Monelli

A bit unlucky in both runs over this trip, finishing unplaced from the squeeze draw. Can be the one to capitalise if his more fancied rivals from bother.

Race 4 – No. 4  Freddo Monelli

Had little early luck in a Lew Dorsa heat last week but still finished off well for 4^th at juicy odds. This is a bit easier and improvement at box rise should see him finish much closer.

Race 5 – No. 2  Rolo Monelli

Ideally drawn in stripes where he should get a soft run in behind early leaders. He will be relying on a bit of luck late and can’t afford to get too far back but if he does find open space, he will be thundering home at the finish.

Race 8 – No. 2  Don’t Guess

Powerful finisher who looks suited to the rise up to the middle distance. Ultra-consistent and won’t take much longer to earn top prize.

Each Way:

Race 7 – No. 7  Dyna Orenthal

Freshened up for this and will appreciate the drop in class after previously chasing home the likes of West on Augie, Starlight Yoyo and Group 1 Perth Cup winner Simon Told Helen. Definitely worth an Each Way ticket.
