Race 1

Interesting race METHUSELAH (4) did plenty of work in his debut run but weakened late, he looked a bit green and no doubt the horse and connections took benefit from the debut run, has the draw advantage over some of the main rivals and looks hard to beat. PATRIARCH (9) reads up well and must overcome a wide draw but looks a major player. MATERNAL DREAMS (1) returns and has shown promise, has some early speed and shouldn’t be too far away, solid novelty chance with TEXAS STORM (10) who is racing well. Novelty chances to SOME LINE (2), BROOME BEACH (3) and TOO FAR AWAY TED (6).

Tips: 4 9 1 10

Suggested Bet: METHUSELAH (4) to win.

Race 2

AMERICAN BLAZE (5) debuts in the west and has some decent form lines around some very talented types in New Zealand, looks a strong chance to make it a winning debut. BOY BLUE (8) is a very smart type with a lot of high speed which means he will likely need that high speed late with the way the race can be run. PINNY NOIR (1) has the speed to lead and has options, finding it hard to break through. DUNKALLEDY (4) had every chance last time out and has some speed to play a part early. WHEN IN VEGAS (6) just continues to improve and race well, top 5 finish in the WA Derby and will be running home strongly. DELULU (7) will be running on but looks challenging for her tonight.

Tips: 5 8 6 1

Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BLAZE (5) to win.

Race 3

CIGANDA (7) has brilliant early gate speed and could nearly cross to the top and if she finds the peg line, I expect her to be very hard to run down. MISS VINCENZA (4) could have a bit to say early with her early speed; she has been mixing her form. WAVE REBELLION (8) was very good on return at Pinjarra, but she is a get back and run home type and the mile from a wide draw makes it a little more difficult. SHEER ROCK LADY (9) has just continued to improve every run this time in but faces the same challenge from the wide draw. Novelty chances to BONPOPPY (2), ELVIRA JANE (5), LITTLE MISS MOLLY (6) and PIPERS PARADE (10).

Tips: 7 8 9 4

Suggested Bet: CIGANDA (7) to win.

Race 4

HENTY (2) did a power of work last run and was brave in defeat and has the fitness and draw advantage over some of his main rivals, gate speed is a slight query but looks a major player none the less. ATLANTIC GEM (5) has the speed to play a significant role but overall has been mixing her form. THELITTLE MASTER (9) is suited in this grade and looks to be charging home, will be threatening late. MAJOR JAY (7) and QUEENINTHECORNER (8) can run well but have awkward draws.

Tips: 2 9 5 7

Suggested Bet: HENTY/THELITTLE MASTER to quinella.

Race 5

EASTERN ADVANCE (5) has come back well and has good early speed, could follow across and looks a strong chance to lead and run a big race. SONIC SEELSTER (4) has the speed to burn across and lead and then likely to sit, becomes a strong novelty chance. HES THUNDER (6) will be heading forward and can stay strongly if he is in the breeze. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (1) has the nice draw and mixing her form, but early speed is a query. ZUEDE (11) and THE ULTIMATE BEACH (12) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: EASTERN ADVANCE (5) to win.

Race 6

ROCKSTAR QUALITY (9) is racing in great form and is quite a versatile type, should run a bold race again here, looks hard to beat. AIR MARSHAL (2) will be heading forward and likely to lead early and has options from there. CLASSICAL ELLIE (12) has come back well and will be running on strongly. SAMMY SUFFARELL (6) has been impressive since coming to WA and hit the line well last run against stronger, just an awkward draw to work with. VINITA ROSE (7) and STRIKING A DEAL (11) novelty chances.

Tips: 9 12 2 6

Suggested Bet: ROCKSTAR QUALITY (9) to win.

Race 7

ARUM (3) was impressive in the return run and only lightly raced, looks a strong chance to play a big part in this, second up tonight and has the draw advantage, should go well. SUN PUBLISHER (7) has come up short but is racing well, this grade suits and is versatile, go close. ELLEOFAREACTOR (1) has a nice draw and has really turned a corner recently, has options from the draw. DIAMOND BAY (4) comes in fresh and has ability, keep safe. CARA DIANA (5) novelty chance with LOW FLYIN (6).

Tips: 3 7 1 4

Suggested Bet: ARUM (3) each way.

Race 8

QUIGGLEY (4) has come back in great form, and his form last prep was first class, has a 10m advantage over his main rivals and looks hard to beat. MAJESTIC GA GA (6) just needs a safer getaway, but she is the main danger in this, will be a battle between the two favourites. THAT’S NOT MY GAIT (7) and LUVAFLAIR (8) are both capable with the former having the depth to stick on and the back marker will be running home strongly. SELLUNE (3) always a novelty chance.

Tips: 4 6 7 8

Suggested Bet: QUIGGLEY (4) to win.

Race 9

WALLEN (4) is first up but has shown good promise and looks suited here, looks a strong chance to break through. DIVAS SPIRIT (8) must overcome a wide draw but expecting a further improvement off the last effort. DEAR DOLLY (5) is second up but the first up run was full of merit, will be in the mix. CAPPY THE FIREY (1) a novelty chance with IDONTWANABAPIRATE (2) and TOFFEE APPLE (7) who might need the run but shows promise.

Tips: 4 8 5 7

Suggested Bet: WALLEN (4) to win.
