WISHING BELLE (9) beat the Golden Slipper winner last time when she was able to lead, she is a versatile type and an absolute star but she will have to be good, she has only tasted defeat twice and once was at the hands of MISS LEOPATRA (6) who has the better draw and was a 1.54.5 winner at the trip a few starts back, expecting both of them to battle again. TYPHOON TREASURE (1) rises massively in grade but has the draw, is a novelty chance. CINCH (3) and SOVEREIGN JEWEL (5) both have talent but face tricky draws. IM CATEGORY FIVE (8) is topical, returns and this could be a bit slick for her at the mile. EL RAES GIRL (12) ready to win, will be running on at odds. Tips: 6 9 1 12 Suggested Bet: MISS LEOPATRA/WISHING BELLE to Quinella. Race 2 BELLY UP (12) was solid in his return run as he had to rely on a bit of luck before closing off strongly, think this draw can work out better as he can make his own luck and strips fitter, looks hard to hold out. BETTOR ARCADE (6) is racing well, think he’ll run hard off the gate and be in the first few and should feature. CHIVALRY (11) likely to work in to a forward position and is a tough staying type. LINCOLN RIVER (9) needs to be driven for one run and from the draw he’ll need a few things to go his way but is talented. Novelty chances to BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (1), TIGER ROYAL (3) and the returning HALE SAINT LOUIE (7). Tips: 12 6 11 9 Suggested Bet: BELLY UP (12) to win. Race 3 Outstanding race. RUNKLE CRUNCH (7) was fantastic in his return and looked to sail around Gloucester Park perfectly, rises in grade on that but derives benefit from the first up run, expecting him to win his fair share this time in. MAD MONDAY (5) won with the plugs in first up where he romped home in a career best performance signalling a great preparation upcoming, likely to be heading forward off the arm. SPITFIRE (1) was second in that race and has the good draw but lacks early brilliance. LINCOLN LOU (3) looks the likely leader early and has options, he has returned well and they are likely to roll the dice with him. SOHO SHAKEDOWN (4) has a wonderful record and trialled up in exceptional order for this. SWEET PINS (11) also trialled well and has the benefit of watching things unfold. Tips: 7 3 5 4 Suggested Bet: RUNKLE CRUNCH (7) to win. Race 4 FAKENIT (4) returns and has the draw advantage over her main rival, she should be ready to go but their will be some mental pressure in this and looks a good test for her. PENNY BLACK (9) is a war horse, and the big mare should roll to the breeze at some stage and apply the pressure and I think she can get the job done. HUNGER STRIKE (3) is a novelty chance, has decent early speed and could get across to the top with DELIGHTFUL PEG (2) showing questionable speed early in both runs in the west, she has plenty of ability but steps up noticeably in class again. MADAM PUBLISHER (6) is racing in good order, she has been close without cracking it for a win, tempo could suit her and WONDERFUL TO FLY (8) who used her high speed to gain a narrow victory in the Golden Girls Mile at Pinjarra, draw makes life a lot harder. Tips: 9 4 6 3 Suggested Bet: PENNY BLACK (9) to win. Race 5 JUSTCALLMEMIKI (8) returned strongly in a race that did not suit him at all and that look to give an indication of good things ahead, he can watch things unfold early before being put into it and the big strong type will take all kinds of holding out. ALTA TRIBUTE (5) returns and is highly talented, should be ready to go and expect him to run well. COMO EL VIENTO (2) faces his toughest test to date; he has been a winning machine this time in and shouldn’t be too far away. MINOS (4) and PETES HONOUR (7) both racing well. TUALOU (3) nicely drawn and has some early speed. Looks to be enough going on to really suit the on top selection here. Tips: 8 5 2 4 Suggested Bet: JUSTCALLMEMIKI (8) to win. Race 6 Back markers look to have this race. FRANCO MOTU (9) is a highly talented horse on return with the stablemate CHASE ME (7) who trialled up strongly for this, think whoever lands in front of the other becomes the one to beat. THELITTLE MASTER (10) was unreal last time out after losing so much ground but the major issue there is he needs to step safely, and he walked away last start. MAXIMUM ROCK (8) is capable but comes in fresh. Top 4 chances in the race and most likely at the back end to JILL MACH (2), MINOR CATASTROPHE (4) and the ever-consistent ECLIPSE LINE (6). Tips: 7 9 10 8 Suggested Bet: CHASE ME (7) to win. Race 7 ARETHA (2) is a talented type on return and has the nice draw, will be looking to get to the top but not guaranteed that it will be there, she is capable from anywhere on speed and still looks hard to hold out. MY COPY (1) is racing well and gets the draw, might roll the dice here and try to lead. BLUE BLAZER (10) loves the rail and will get the perfect run, knockout chance late. BAZAAR PACKAGE (11) is racing well and likely to be close to the speed, will be dangerous. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (12) will be running on well, he’s been hitting the line strongly in recent races. WALL STREET GIRL (7) and MANHATTAN MOON (8) both going strongly but the draws and map look awkward for them. Tips: 11 10 2 1 Suggested Bet: BAZAAR PACKAGE (11) each way. Race 8 TROUBADOUR (12) was a solid win on return, and this looks just as winnable for him, he showed above average ability last time in and a versatility that would give you confidence from the draw in this grade. VINITA ROSE (8) has been working hard in her races and just beaten by the better one on the night in 3 of her last 4, heads forward again and likely to find the top and give them something to catch. SUGAR SHAKE (9) has returned well but fair to say he had every opportunity both times and wasn’t able to hold on, draw makes life harder. RELLIM (11) and GOTA GOOD WARHOL (10) will both be running on at value for your novelty chances. IL BANDITO (3) won last time out and will want a forward position, but the overall time seems to get to him if it’s more solid. MISTER KOPA (4) was good on Monday but looks tricky. Tips: 12 8 9 11 Suggested Bet: TROUBADOUR/VINITA ROSE to Exacta. Race 9 A LITTLE SILENCE (6) returned with a win after such a long time away, ran away with it but the race was run to suit, this looks winnable again and must be respected but likely to be short. TRUE GRIT (3) returned well with a win in good time at Northam, can go on with the job now and has always shown good ability. ROCKABILITY (1) comes in fresh and has the draw to be on speed, has options. Novelty chances to FUNKY MUSIC (2), STATE MY CASE (10) and BETTOR MOVE ALONG (11). Tips: 6 3 1 10 Suggested Bet: TRUE GRIT (3) each way. Race 10 Open race to finish. LORD PUBLISHER (5) will head forward and look for the top here and looks hard to beat if he could find the lead, came from well back and was sound last time out. ARUM (6) has returned well and although only lightly raced he has shown some depth. SUGAR STREET (9) should just win on his run two starts ago but he is a hard horse to catch, expect him to be right in the thick of it and worth a bet if he is forgotten about. SIANGDI (1) has options from the draw, not racing at her best but could improve. IDEAL INTEREST (4) is a hard horse to catch lately but has the ability. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (8) could improve.
