Race 1

ICANPLAY (1) returned with a nice effort, took the softer option first up and that could be used again here but they do have options, and she will be fitter for that first up run off the back of a solid trial, expecting her to go well. UP AND ALIVE (6) has an awkward draw to work with but is racing well and must be respected. SLIPALONG SAINT (10) can let them settle and work into it at some stage. JUST A PET (5) likely rolls forward and is performing well and looks a strong chance to finish in the money. REDDY TO FLY (9) and WORLD COMBINATION (8) will be running on and look novelty chances with SAVE THIS DANCE (7).

Suggested Bet: ICANPLAY (1) to win.

Race 2

Open race here. Bit happening off the front row with good speed from ALTA HURRAH (6) and he can fire up in the run which could set a genuine tempo, his form has been good enough to suggest him running well. KARAOKE STAR (8) didn’t have much luck last time out, suited in this grade and is putting together some consistency. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (3) wasn’t disgraced first up for the new stable and has a decent draw, shouldn’t be too far away. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (5) has a tricky draw to work with, but she is versatile and looks a decent chance with even luck. LETS ROCK TONIGHT (9) can capitalise if the tempo suits, he will get warm in the last lap. SANFORD BART (7) racing well but needs some luck and KOPPER KOTE (10) is getting close to breaking through, form since returning has been good.

Suggested Bet: KARAOKE STAR (8) each way.

Race 3

SANFORD HARRY (3) has the nice draw and looks ready to run a big race, can push forward and potentially find his way to the top and appears hard to beat. SECOND AMENDMENT (10) caught the eye last time out and needs a few things to go right but expect him to getting home strongly. CHALKY WHITE (6) trialled up well, one to throw in to your novelties at bigger odds. SHES ALL GO (4) better suited this grade and has come back soundly, could be further improved. LIQUIDATOR (5) is speedy but awkward draw for her, prefer her at shorter in distance. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (9) capable when at her best but form from Busselton was hard to get enthused about.

Suggested Bet: SANFORD HARRY (3) to win.

Race 4

TUX AND TAILS (10) didn’t have the most pleasant run last time out but really put his hand up and showed that he is ready to win, can be put into the race at some stage and looks very hard to beat. BATAVIA STREAMLINE (2) is nicely drawn and can roll the arm and look for the top, expecting her to improve and be hard to catch. MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (1) numerically doesn’t read up that flash but gets the perfect draw and should get a look at them. HOT ROD (5) and GALEOCERDO CUVIER (6) could be improvers their second run this prep, but both drawn awkwardly.

Tips: 10 2 1 6

Suggested Bet: TUX AND TAILS (10) to win.

Race 5

Competitive race. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (8) and EASTERN ADVANCE (6) are both coming out of finishing well down the track in the Albany Cup, expected them to bounce back reasonably well going into this with HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (8) one that can watch things unfold, happy to be with him. EASTERN ADVANCE (6) needs to lead to show his best but has the ability. FUNKY MUSIC (2) will be coming out hard and looking for the top and should run well. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (10) is racing well and will be hoping for a hot tempo, has been very consistent. FOLLOW THE MUSIC (5) a novelty chance, needs a few things to go right for him from the draw.

Suggested Bet: HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (8) each way.

Race 6

THOMSON BAY (8) was a strong effort in metro company last start when coming up three-wide with a lap to go, got weary late but was expected after doing his own dirty work, looks well suited in this grade and appears the one to beat. TUBBS FARQUHAR (7) will run well again; he has won two of his last three and has performed well in the stands in the past. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (5) is a consistent performer and must be respected as he can get forward. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (9) was solid in the Albany Cup and followed it with a metro run that wasn’t bad, expecting him to be running home well. WESMEDAD (3) next best.

Tips: 8 7 9 5

Suggested Bet: THOMSON BAY (8) to win.

Race 7

LOOKINGOODADDA (4) was impressive in the debut run when put into the race and did some work, wasn’t beaten all that far and looks to be the one they’ll all be watching, should get the job done. SHESA ENCHANTRESS (7) faces a tricky draw but is racing with good consistency, looks the main danger. OKAY DARLING (6) was decent on debut and then did things wrong second up, keep safe from the wide draw. LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (3) is a novelty chance with DEVIL MAN (8).

Tips: 4 7 6 8

Suggested Bet: LOOKINGOODADDA (4) to win.
