Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on February 5, 2022February 5, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 3 West On Cup Has yet to receive any luck her last couple but that could change here. Forget her form, she’s a real talent with a stack of ability. If she can get to the first turn without too much trouble, she will hit the podium. Each way go here. Race 3 No. 4 Tiger Town Superb effort on Monday when he copped some first turn interference only to recover and run home in good sectionals. A high talent who will look for the fence early and then go through his gears as he winds up strongly. Can comfortably go sub 30 and looks ready. Race 6 No. 1 Production Our best last week and he beat himself by stepping too well and getting strangled out of a spot early. Now moves to the cherry and only has to hold his position on the fence here to win. If he steps again and stays prominent into the back, it’s over. Best bet. Race 7 No. 7 Sunset Piper Wonderful edition of the Sandis Me Mum final, named after the greatest WA dog to ever see a track. The 7 was superb in her heat, running down Got The Sugar, which doesn’t usually happen. She is racing so well and is boxed to roll down the outside and be on top of the speed by the first turn. Can win from there and give a tremendous sight. WENTWORTH PARKRace 2 No. 3 Blackjackist Highly promising type who has a progressive heat change up the back and hits the line with gusto. Needs to muscle his way to a first turn position then will go on from there with a big run home. Race 8 No. 2 Fernando Hunter What can we say? He just wins this. He’s short but should be shorter. Only something absurd can see him beaten here. If the track is fast, the lure will smoke!! Race 10 No. 1 Osprey Phantom Boxed to finally show the Victorian form that saw him sent here for a crack at the Derby. Can be tardy early but the box will keep him close and within the leaders. Will feel off winning sections after that and looks set to break through here at WP. Won’t miss top 2 with a clear run. THE MEADOWS Race 2 No. 6 Vardan Bale Simply way over the odds here and a huge place heavy play. He will stay out of the early battle then has a great change of gears up the back and sustains it through the run home. Yes he will need some luck but he’s no $34 shot. Will all depend on the first turn but he’s absolutely worth a go each way. Race 7 No. 5 Weblec Scout and No. 8 Gypsy Vista Both of these dogs are prices that attract here. The 5 dropping back in trip, something I rate in a lot of dogs, and that will help him step and land close. Will keep coming. The 8 will work her way across to the fence and when she finds it, she will take inside runs all the way home and has a good last section. Won for us a few starts back at $31 and can do so again. Back both each way and possibly even place heavy. Race 8 No. 4 Indy Matilda Now the 3 is out, it leave Indy to find the arm or close to and her 29.64 best will see her go seriously close here. She’s just a fast dog who always hits the podium when given luck. She should get that here. Vacancy’s either side. It’s hers to lose. Race 9 No. 2 Dusty Lyn and No. 4 Ripplebrook Glen The 2 was our best last week and she went super to hit 3rd. She was strong late and will be hard to beat if a good draw again. However the 4 was in that same race and caught my eye with a superb performance. A replication of that will see him in the finish here. We can back both these with some confidence. Market Market
