Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on April 27, 2017May 5, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: RETRAVISION 80 HOUR SALE ON NOW MS PACE JUST BET ON BLACK (12) is in sparkling form, winning his last four on end. He led when a 25m winner over Estocada before facing the breeze and recording a strong Pinjarra win. He has drawn the back line but should have a fitness edge over his main rival. BETTOR NOT BITTER (5) was beaten as a $1.30 favourite before a long break. He resumes without a trial but has a touch of class and a barrier advantage over his rivals. MY ENTOURAGE (7) looks the other winning chance, while THE PACESETTER (1) can be placed from this draw. Tips: 12 5 7 1 Suggested Bet: JUST BET ON BLACK (12) to win. Race 2: RETRAVISION AS LOCAL AS YOU WESTBRED MS PACE EL HOMBRE (1) led throughout here two starts back before a strong 2nd to Handsandwheels when he started from the back line. He has a perfect draw tonight and is clearly the one to beat. HOT FRATERNITY (2) has been racing well from bad barriers and looks the obvious danger from a nice draw here. AUSSIE DELIGHT (8) was an excellent 3rd here at his last start but will have to work harder than his two main rivals. RABCHENKO (5) wasn’t disgraced when finishing 4th behind two smart ones last week and won’t be far away. Tips: 1 2 8 5 Suggested Bet: EL HOMBRE (1) to win. Race 3: RETRAVISION 1800 TOO HOT MS PACE SHANDALE (2) impressed with a 1.54.7 win at his WA debut before running 2nd to Overboard Again when they ran home in 55.3 last week. He is better drawn tonight and looks the winner. GOOD TIMES AHEAD (1) was a strong last start 3rd to El Hombre last start and looks a great quinella chance. MISTER ARDEE (10) has been racing in collectively stronger company and looks a good place chance from the draw. SOHO WALL STREET (7) is drawn wide but may be the best of the rest. Tips: 2 1 10 7 Suggested Bet: SHANDALE (2) to win. Race 4: RETRAVISION 60 DAY PRICE PROMISE FILLIES AND MARES MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (9) is a classy mare who led throughout for a comfortable victory before taking on the boys and finishing 8th in a hot field. She is drawn wide but drops back to her own sex and should give a great sight. FOXY DAME (12) has been placed at four of her last five and will be charging home again. CHEVRONS CHAMPION (6) and HIDDEN BAD (8) both resume from inconsistent campaigns but either can win if they race up to their best. Tips: 9 12 6 8 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (9) each way. Race 5: RETRAVISION YOUR FUJITSU SPECIALIST MS PACE VANQUISHED (2) has been placed at his three starts back from a spell in good company. He is drawn inside his main rivals tonight and gets his chance to break through. RISK (4) is a classy customer who has been placed at four of his five runs this time in and looks a major player. BILLIES A STAR (8) disappointed last campaign, only winning one of his 15 starts but won a recent trial and has a heap of ability. FRANCO RAYNER (12) is up to these on class but always performs better on the pegs. Tips: 2 4 8 12 Suggested Bet: VANQUISHED (2) to win. Race 6: RETRAVISION ONLINE MS PACE GALACTIC STAR (1) was a brave 2nd in the Easter Cup before running on to win another stand here last week. He looks capable of handling the rise in class and will be extremely hard to beat if he can hold up. SUPERIMPOSED (2) led throughout to beat easier company last start and should be thereabouts from this draw. LISHARRY (3) is never far away in this company and should settle closer to the lead than normal. CONDRIEU (5) was a good all the way winner last start and would be a huge chance if he crossed at the start. Tips: 1 2 3 5 Suggested Bet: GALACTIC STAR (1) to win. Race 7: RETRAVISION CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC MS PACE ROCK ME OVER (2) won two on end in style before sitting midfield and rattling home to narrowly miss catching Play The Boys in the WA Sales Classic. He is better drawn here and looks hard to beat. POCKET MORE FOR LESS (1) won his first two starts before finishing 2nd to Warriors Code and has the advantage of the pole. COTT BEACH (9) is an extremely talented filly who can overcome the wide draw and test the boys. MISS SANGRIAL (3) was an impressive winner on Monday and shouldn’t be far away from the draw. Tips: 2 1 9 3 Suggested Bet: ROCK ME OVER (2) to win. Race 8: GH MUMM THE JOHNSON FINAL AUCTIONEERS ELSU (1) hadn’t had much luck before getting a nice run in transit and winning convincingly last start. She goes up in class but has a perfect draw and can make it two on end. THE SPINSTER (3) has been placed at her last two including a 3rd at Pinjarra after finding the top and should run a big race tonight. GIULIANA RANCIC (6) flew home to beat THE SPINSTER (3) two starts back and is always a chance with the right trip. MON LILLIES (11) led throughout to beat a similar field last week but goes to the back line here. Tips: 1 3 6 11 Suggested Bet: AUCTIONEERS ELSU (1) to win. Race 9: PERNOT RICARD MS TROT HUDSON BAY (3) won five on end in style before doing things wrong last start. He has since won a trial at Pinjarra and only has to trot throughout to be extremely hard to beat. CHAR MING (12) has run two nice 2nds, including his last start behind HUDSON BAY (3) and should be in the finish again. LIGHTNING CALDER (9) has returned to form with consecutive wins but has a wide draw to overcome. ROPEBURN (1) has been placed behind HUDSON BAY (3) at his last two and has the draw to be in the money again. Tips: 3 12 9 1 Suggested Bet: HUDSON BAY (3) to win. Race 10: FRIENDS OF BLATO/KORCULA MS PACE IM FREE FALLING (5) found the front and was far from disgraced when beaten by the talented Campora in quick time last start. This looks a drop in class and he is the one to beat. BETTOR TWISTED (6) has jumped out of the ground with strong efforts to finish 2nd at his two starts and is a winning chance here. MANTOMAN (1) is a different horse in front and can improve dramatically from this draw. JUMPING AT SHADOWS (9) is quite inconsistent and has a wide draw but must be respected on his best form. Tips: 5 6 1 9 Suggested Bet: IM FREE FALLING (5) to win. Bet Now
