Race 1

WESTBURN ROCKSTAR (1) is second up from the nice draw and showed speed to lead on return, looks hard to gun down in this. PARAGLIDER (2) has had many opportunities now, had the cold sit on the top pick last time out and couldn’t get past him, hard to suggest how he could turn the tables from the draw disadvantage. HIGH TIMES (8) first up in WA and is on debut overall but has had a few trials in Victoria, drawn to get a good run and respect with Aiden De Campo. MAJOR MOVES (5) was better in his last run and looks to improve further but will have to do some work. ROCKNROLL EAGLE (4) a novelty chance with UNKNOWN (9).

Suggested Bet: WESTBURN ROCKSTAR (1) to win.

Race 2

OF CLAUS IM GOOD (4) is a nice type and won well on return, should improve off that and improve further and looks hard to beat again, highly talented type. LAST KING OF CAPEL (5) should be ready to run a big race now third up into the preparation. MY MACHANE (6) looked to have his chance last time out, won’t be far away again in this. SIZZLE ORO (8) will be running on strongly and is an outside chance.

Race 3

DAWSON SHARD (1) is ready to win but has been poisonous odds in his recent runs and punters might not be keen to butter up again but he is a major player again. WICKED WINDERMERE (5) first up for the new stable but has shown promise, should run well on return. CHEVRONS GOLD (8) is ideally drawn and could be dangerous late. EASTON QUALITY (9) likes the distance and could be an outside chance at value. JORDANO (4) was disappointing last run in his debut for the new stable but is capable of better. HUGHEY (7) might need the run and DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (11) just needs a genuine tempo but is right up to these on ability.

Suggested Bet: WICKED WINDERMERE (5) to win.

Race 4

Open race here. DISPATCHER (1) has options from the draw and with the sprint lane in play I think they’ll look to be no further back than behind the leader and she loves the distance and is ready to win. RUIA (2) has ability but is still learning the caper, capable but always a risk. DAT LOVELY (10) will be running on strongly, suitable class and distance suits. THEYCALL ME STOOGE (8) I would be very confident on if he had a run under his belt but even so it’s a good draw and he’ll be hitting the line. MADAM TIGER (3) looks a chance if she could find the top, holding decent consistency. SHES A MARE (6) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: DISPATCHER (1) each way.

Race 5

MAJOR DISCO (6) looks to have a mortgage on this race with a run under his belt but is developing a trend in his form, still deserves respect. SIR ALEC WHITBY (9) is racing well and can be dangerous here, is following out a moderate beginner which is of slight concern but his high speed to negate that and get him into the money. ULTIMATE ZIPPER (11) faces a tricky draw but knows how to win. BUNJIL MAN (8) will be running on well when he gets into the clear, respect.

Suggested Bet: SIR ALEC WHITBY (9) each way.

Race 6

DIAMOND WORLD (6) drops in grade and likely heads forward and look to try and dominate, very hard to hold out on her recent form. DIAMONDSAREFOREVER (8) will be dangerous with any luck, perfect draw to play to her strength which is her speed. SUPREMEDREAM (1) is improving and has a nice draw but bumps into some nice ones. AZIONE (3) looked sharp in a recent trial and continues to improve.

Tips: 6 8 3 1

Suggested Bet: DIAMONDSAREFOREVER (8) each way.

Race 7

BETTOR WASH UP (1) looked a bit rocky but talented on debut at this track a fortnight ago, looks to have the speed to lead and back to maiden status, ticks a lot of boxes and is the one to run down. BETTOR BE BUCKS (8) was unlucky on Tuesday and has run well in 2 of her 3 runs for Giles Inwood, ideally drawn. WRITE RITE RIGHT (3) comes in with claims but is on return and to the disadvantage of his main rival. CAMEL PLUS (5) has ability but is still a work in progress and has been a beaten favourite both runs since returning.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR WASH UP (1) to win.
