Chris’ Doomben Best Bets Posted on March 23, 2018March 23, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 1 No. 3 Secret Mo Lightly raced galloper who should be primed third up tomorrow. Raced wide first up when not far away at Doomben before beating all bar the winner same track a fortnight back. Just outgunned on that occasion by the mudlark Live Fast he went down fighting and note there was a gap of almost 2 lengths back to the 3rd placed runner. He’ll go very close to breaking through. RACE 3 No. 13 Sweet Adaline Surely tomorrow is her day. Very consistent mare with only the single victory who’s been narrowly beaten her past two starts having hit the lead and looking home two back before closing solidly latest just running out of ground. She gets her preferable wet track conditions once again and the opposition don’t appear overly strong. Gets her chance to break through for an overdue win. RACE 4 No. 3 Don’t Tell Mama Without doubt we’ll be faced with a Heavy/Soft track tomorrow which will suit this in-form Toowoomba trained mare down to the ground. She capped off a run of consistency placing at three straight starts Doomben and the Gold Coast when taking the shortcuts along the fence to score at the beginning of the month. The step up in distance only assists suggesting she can win again!
