RACE 4 No.1 Krone

Tony Gollan trained mare who was a Group 1 winner here four starts back when landing the Coolmore over 1500m. She comes into this race off two unplaced efforts this time in however both have been sound and she really does look to have lengths on her rivals class wise. Under the conditions of the race she gets in well at the weights, we just need a genuine tempo and a fair track for her to give the race a big shake!

RACE 6 No.11 Ojai

The Silver Slipper is always a competitive race and this year looks no different at all. The one factor we can be sure of is there’s good speed engaged with plenty who will be charging forward from the outset. That will hopefully play into the hands of this Godolphin filly who ran home hard first up on a day when making any ground was tough, she did so and away from the favourable rail. The faster they go in front the better her chances.

RACE 8 No.1 Anamoe

Cracking colt who arguably should already have a Cox Plate under his belt. He resumed from that narrow second with a fast finishing third in the Hobartville here 3 weeks ago when as mentioned above it was hard enough to make any ground and near impossible to do so unless you were up against the fence. Well he wasn’t and he did, steps to 1400m which is ideal and I’m happy to take the short quote.
