Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on March 25, 2021March 26, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.6 Isotope Staying loyal sticking with the Queensland filly who we haven’t seen since she was sent out favourite in the Magic Millions Guineas mid-January. We all know what happened on the home turn where she lost jockey Ryan Maloney after clipping heels. Her previous form was excellent and her lead up jump out heading into tomorrow’s race was terrific when 2nd to Jonker at Doomben going to the line under a hold. She’s won 2 from 2 on soft ground yet to see anything worse. Confident she’ll run very well. RACE 5 No.3 Mo’unga Good thing beaten in the Group 1 Randwick Guineas last start he can make amends tomorrow stepping up to the 2000m of the Rosehill Guineas. Stuck on the fence he had to wait and come around heels near the 200 finally getting to the outside and charging to the line once able to balance up and knuckle down. Just has to handle the heavy ground at this level to win. RACE 9 No.2 Tricky Gal Looks the right race for this mare who has beaten all bar the winner at 3 of her past 4 starts. Well beaten the latest run there were excuses as she was caught wide all the way in a hot race, the Group 1 Coolmore. She ran into Tailleur & Krone (subsequently won Coolmore) at those prior two placings & will find this a great deal easier. Drawn well, J Mac on top, loves the wet ground, there’s plenty to like!
