Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on September 27, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 5 No.7 Dyslexic Although officially winding up 1.9 lengths from the winner here last start it’s fair to say she was a ‘good thing beaten’. Parked in behind the speed she was all dressed up in the straight however just had nowhere to go unable to gain clear running until all too late. Her only other run this prep was a solid closing effort at Randwick when running on from the back. Gets her chance to make amends tomorrow! RACE 7 No.6 Kubrick Chris Waller trained colt who I thought put in one of the best efforts of the Brisbane Winter Carnival when tracking wide all the way yet only going down narrowly to Prince Fawaz who had the far better run in the Group 1 J. J. Atkins. Didn’t jump well first up before making ground to the line here a fortnight back, yes this is a tough race however he rates a definite each-way chance. RACE 9 No.4 Ranier Godolphin trained galloper who should be ready to hit his peak tomorrow at run number three from a break. Unsuited first up at Randwick over the 1100m dash he did still manage to make ground, second up at Rosehill he again gave away too much start before closing off solidly at 1200m. 1400m plus is his go and he rises to that trip tomorrow having drawn a good gate, expect him to settle a lot closer and prove very hard to hold out late.
