Race 1

SUGA (1) has come back well this preparation and only lightly raced but looks well placed in this and the draw is advantageous as she has drawn poorly in most of her runs, very hard to beat. GINGER SNAPS (2) and GRACE ELLA (3) have had good battles since beginning their careers, drawn along side each other and have a leaning to GRACE ELLA (3) at this stage. BETTER TOGETHER (12) has turned a corner in recent runs and looks set to run home strongly and should run well but traffic could be an issue. BROOME BEACH (9) racing well and will get home nicely. Novelty chances to ROMAN GUARD (8) who is ideally drawn along with IDEAL AN ACE (6) and MA PETITE DAME (11).

Suggested Bet: SUGA (1) to win.

Race 2

GAMETIME (9) has hit his straps in recent runs and has a nice draw to follow through and be prominent and will be hard to beat in this. ITSOKTOBEGREY (10) is racing well and will be running on well, looks to have turned a corner in recent runs and seems a bit sharper. OAKLEY (4) will look to get to the top and the class suits, should be around the mark. APOLOGIZE (8) needs luck from the draw as he follows out a slow beginner, will be running on. Novelty chances to HEAD OFFICE (2), BUNDEGI BLUE (3), THEYCALL ME STOOGE (11) and IN MY OWN TIME (12) who is on the improve.

Suggested Bet: GAMETIME (9) to win.

Race 3

SUGAR BOO (8) is ideally drawn and looks to be dangerous in this grade, didn’t seem to appreciate the smaller circuit at Collie and looks better suited here, dangerous. LUCY VICTORIA (1) was a winner last time out, hasn’t been a known leader but may get an opportunity here, either way she will be close enough. ASHBY (6) could charge across and look for the top and will run a better race in this, especially if he can find the top. EASTON QUALITY (9) will be running on; she is racing soundly at this stage with respect to the returning THUNDER WARRIOR (7) and PAY HOMAGE (11).

Tips: 8 1 6 9

Suggested Bet: SUGAR BOO (8) to win.

Race 4

AUTUMN LADY (5) was solid in her return, looks a solid chance to burn across and could find the top in this and looks hard to beat, overall, she appeals as the best horse in the race. DAMAGE DONE (2) has the speed to lead early and will have options from there. MARTYR (7) could also run the arm, back to the mile could see him as an improver but being used early hasn’t been working for him lately so tactics will be intriguing. ICY COLD (10) and MISS VINCENZA (11) both capable of running on well from their tricky draws, good closing speed and novelty chances to CODENAME ELLIOT (1) and CHARLI BROWN (8).

Tips: 5 2 10 11

Suggested Bet: AUTUMN LADY (5) to win.

Race 5

LAKE PICHOLA (9) has another back row draw to work with but is building with fitness every time he steps out there and is a talented conveyance, looks incredibly hard to hold out again. CONTROL THE ROOM (6) and CIGANDA (7) will both be heading forward looking for the top and both racing well and will be potent front runners. ADMIRAL DARCY (8) drawn to get a good run and will be running on strongly, hit the line bolting last time out. VISITING HOURS (1) also has good speed and may look to sit in this grade with a sprint lane in operation. ROCKSTAR QUALITY (10) is talented and is on return and a bit of a watch. JAMIE KIM (3) comes in fresh and is capable but may need the run.

Tips: 9 8 7 6

Suggested Bet: ADMIRAL DARCY (8) to place.

Race 6

ART IDEAL (7) has brilliant gate speed and will be coming out hard and looking for the top, think he is a big chance to find his way to the lead and dropping back to country grade, he will be the one to beat. DIAMOND WORLD (1) has the speed to be handy enough to them and should get a good run throughout and not be far away, form has been sound. SEAGRASS (2), ANNIE CROCKER (3) and SHECANPLAY (4) all have similar consistent form lines, all capable with the right run but look more place to novelty chances if the map is how I see it. FLOAT MY BOAT (10) will use his high speed and be running on strongly, genuine tempo will help him. MIGHTY MAGICIAN (5) first up for Chris Voak, he is a bit of a watch going into this, one very sharp run last time in, watch the market.

Suggested Bet: ART IDEAL (7) to win.

Race 7

POCKET OF DREAMS (3) should dominate, she is suited, she is classy and realistically, she should win. SEASPIRIT (1) ideally drawn, has options but thought she’d sit and try and get her up the lane, looks the genuine exacta play with a healthy respect to REINE DU SOLEIL (6) who has come back well but drawn poorly, proved last start that she can do some work. They look your trifecta and then ANGEL MIKI (4) is next best.

Tips: 3 1 6 4

Suggested Bet: 3/1/6 OR 3/1,6/1,6 to Trifecta

Race 8 (Best Bet)

ASTERI ADELPHOS (2) has been a noted improver in recent runs and looks incredibly hard to beat in this, he was bolting in the Golden Slipper before running into bother and this is ideal for him to bounce back to the winners list. JETPACK (9) has won 2 of his last 4 and caught the eye in the Golden Slipper, will run a bold race in this. VALENTINO (3) has talent and still learning the caper, drawn to be close enough to earn. ULTIMATE SHOT (7) is talented but draws wide again, finding it hard to break through with novelty chances to RIP TIDE (6) and THEMARASSHADOW (5).

Tips: 2 9 3 7

Suggested Bet: ASTERI ADELPHOS (2) to win.

Race 9

WICKED WINDERMERE (11) is a hard horse to tip confidently, one thing is certain is that he will look like the winner at some stage, just whether he can land the killer blow. BETTOR WASH UP (9) is knocking on the door and has the better draw and looks to settle close enough, bigger track will suit him, and his only win has been at this track. PAPER CRANE (2) showed good speed and stuck it out soundly at this track recently, distance suits her. SNIPES MAGIC (8) needs luck from the draw, likely to be three back the pegs at the best and is more of a grinder. ALTACHAERA (3) trialled well and is first up for the new stable, worth a throw away on if the price is right. ELVIRA JANE (10) capable but needs to do it correctly.
