Race 1

OUR TWINKLE (4) is better suited in this and should be driven forward and is a chance to find the top and will run a bold race. VINITA ROSE (3) can mix her early speed but will appreciate the better draw and drop in grade and looks a solid chance. CODENAME MARCUS (7) trialled up well and is highly talented but is normally driven for one run and needs some tempo to suit his chances. LUCCA (9) will roll forward and look to be outside the speed and will stick on well, as always, he deserves a win. BET ON THE RIVER (2) is a novelty chance but needs to find the rail and might not be able to do that. REINETTE (10) will be running on but needs a touch of luck from the draw. ARTFUL MAJOR (8) back to the mobile is a horse I’m happy to watch in this.

Race 2

Good contest here. MAD MONDAY (7) is highly talented and returns, has good early speed and if they push the button, he might be able to get around most, if not all the runners inside of him but being first, hopefully they’re not too conservative. CAPTAIN STIRLING (1) has the draw, but early speed is a query and there could be some challengers including CHASE ME (6) who also has decent speed and racing soundly. ULTIMATE MIKI (9) is talented and on return, drawn wide but good lead in is that Jnr will drive this ahead of the fitter stablemate. STORMY VISTA (10) nice effort last run and has the perfect draw to follow the speed. OUR CRUNCH TIME (12) a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: MAD MONDAY (7) to win.

Race 3

SWEET PINS (12) nearly broke the track record last time out and it backs up his luckless but eye-catching form prior and looks a solid chance in this to carry on the winning form. GOODFELLAZ (1) will be looking to hold up early but will have some challengers including LUVBITE (2), CAPTAIN RAVISHING (3) and HOTLY PURSUED (5) who are all chances if they could find the top. HUGOTASTIC (11) is racing in top fashion and will be driven for one run again and be powering home strongly, draw is suitable. GOLDEN LODE (9) returns and is highly talented but draws tough on his comeback and Deni Roberts taking the drive on WE WALK BY FAITH (7) is interesting, back to the mobile for this shaky isle import who has won 2 from 3 in WA and only defeat has been in the mobile. MIGHTY RONALDO (8) will be running on, comes in fresh.

Suggested Bet: SWEET PINS (12) to win.

Race 4

D MAC (1) is hard to go past when he gets the perfect draw and looks the leader and the one to beat, steps up to the 2500m but profiles as a horse who can handle that easily. IM STEALTHY (6) has stepped up noticeably this time in and getting better at the racing craft, he is still a horse with claims. HAVTIMEFORMIKI (9) draws poorly but is an incredible talent and continues to get better, think the distance still brings him in with a chance. AMALFI KNIGHT (10) trialled well and is nicely drawn to suit his style. PROPOSITION JOE (11) is low flying and will be running on. IDEAL BEACH (4) and EL MYSTRO (5) both capable and will look to be forward enough to feature but look more to novelty prospects in this.

Suggested Bet: D MAC (1) to win.

Race 5

COPY CAT QUEEN (2) was impressive winning last time out and looks to find the top in this and be very hard to beat, could be tested early but think she is thriving and looks a strong chance to win again. DELIGHTFUL PEG (5) was badly held up last run but still finished the race off incredibly well considering, good test for her but she is versatile and extremely talented. WAVE REBELLION (1) is crying out for a genuinely run race, she gets a good draw and is getting out the gate better, she looks a place chance in this if she can hold up behind the leader early or be no worse than three back the pegs. BEETASTIC (10) will be at the mercy of the pole marker to increase or decrease her chances, she is racing well. SUGAR DELIGHT (4), FAKENIT (7), LITTLE DARLING (9) and EASTBRO CHRISSY (12) can all feature in the novelties.

Suggested Bet: COPY CAT QUEEN (2) to win.

Race 6

WHEN IN VEGAS (1) has the good draw and plenty of speed, does his best work in front and looks a strong chance and hard to run down in this, last run was full of merit at Pinjarra, and this looks suitable. INSTA GATOR (9) trialled exceptionally and looks like he’s back to his sharp best, draw hurts but expecting a big run. LORD TITANIUM (10) nicely drawn and looks a solid place chance first. HOLD THE AMMO (5) is a novelty chance from a tricky gate, hit the line well last time out. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (8) will be running on well and must be respected with FLY TO THE FINISH (11) as a novelty chance.

Race 7 (Best Bet)

GRAND COUTEAU (1) was looking for a run last in a quick last half against some quality mares Friday week ago, has the good draw and that run shows that she is back to her best, has good early speed and looks very hard to beat in this. PAROQUET (5) is suited in this grade and likely to be driven forward and will run a bold race. HER PRESENCE (2) will be fitter for the first up effort and drawn well to feature. SEASIDE POND (3) is hard to get enthusiastic about in a mobile when he’s been unplaced from all 11 attempts at the barrier. MIKIS PRIDE (8) racing well but will need luck with BEYOND THE SEA (7) who trialled well and THE WAND WAVER (10) is a place chance from the draw.

Tips: 1 5 2 8

Suggested Bet: GRAND COUTEAU (1) to win.

Race 8

CAPTAIN SAID SO (12) looks suited here, can settle close enough to the speed and looks to be a genuine tempo, he is knocking on the door and think he will go close. MAJOR EXPRESS (9) was run down by Our Crunch Time and that form line stacks up well in this, likely to be driven like the best horse and will be hard to hold out. RAVENOUS ROMEO (1) is racing well but this is a rise in grade, strong novelty chance but may try and lead. INTO THE FUTURE (2) is a place hope as he is racing well and goes into the novelty category with PRINCE OF TRIBECA (6), ELITE FLEET (7), TURBO JAY (10) and ALWAYS CHANGIN (11).

Tips: 12 9 1 11

Suggested Bet: CAPTAIN SAID SO (12) to win.

Race 9

MAJESTIC GA GA (9) comes in fresh but is hard to go against as she has proven herself to be the benchmark in terms of the trotters ranks for a while. MYSTERY FRED (10) is racing well and has the match fitness and will be running on. QUIGGLEY (7) showed good promise with one of his runs this time in but has done it wrong on the other two occasions. MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (6) is talented and resumes with Micheal Ferguson who does a good job with his team, respect. BEE BEE BEROC (1), SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (3) and SKY EAGLE (4) all novelty chances against this class.

Tips: 9 10 6 7

Suggested Bet: MAJESTIC GA GA (9) to win.

Race 10

MISS LEOPATRA (7) is a forgive in the Oaks, happy to be with her again, they’ll look to keep the advantage over the Oaks winner and try and make amends and looks hard to beat dropping back to the middle distance. SKINNY DIPPIN (8) continues to get stronger and looks incredibly dangerous in this, win in the Oaks was outstanding time wise. MANUKA BAY (1) will be looking to lead early and may try and hold throughout; she is racing well and will hold herself in good stead. A PRECIOUS GEM (3) is racing in top form and only lightly raced, has come on powerfully and looks a chance. CINCH (2) top 4 player from the draw.
