Race 6 No.3 Dixie Blossoms

Runner up in this race the past two years looks a big chance to go one better tomorrow. Impressive run first up against the open company horses in the Tramway and only rises a kilo on that win back to her own sex. Although drawn wide she has the early pace to cross and put herself in a forward spot and from there will be hard to beat.

RACE 7 No.2 The Autumn Sun

Very keen on this previously unbeaten galloper in the Group 1 feature tomorrow. Nobody missed his very unlucky first up effort when strung up badly for clear running in the straight, once clear he ran on well before peaking very late. Fitter and dropping back to 1400m doesn’t look to be a concern to me and I think he’ll be too strong for the opposition.

RACE 8 No.11 Savacool

Chris Waller trained mare who resumes tomorrow off the back of a tidy closing effort in a recent barrier trial at the Gold Coast. First up last prep she gave a way a big start before finding the line in strong fashion beating all bar the winner before landing the money at Caulfield second up over a mile. Expect her to be closing off strongly here nice and fresh.
