Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 17, 2020December 17, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.2 New Arrangement I, like many others was very keen on this one in the second last race here last Saturday. We were all on good terms with ourselves coming to the turn and into the early part of the straight however soon after things went horribly pear shaped. Going for a run along the fence the gap closed abruptly and that was the end of him losing all momentum. His two prior run this prep were good, stick with him! RACE 8 No.7 Edison Very consistent galloper from the Bjorn Baker stable who is looking for back to back wins tomorrow. He’s either won or been placed at his past 5 starts having won 3 of those and his record on wet ground is very good which could be all important with rain in the forecast. Will roll forward again and Tim Clark is the right man to have on under those circumstances. RACE 10 No.4 More Prophets Lightly raced mare from the John Thompson stable who shows plenty of promise. A solid winner first up at Warwick Farm she should take plenty of benefit from that performance and importantly she’s a soft track winner also. She holds some impressive formlines through the likes of Frosty Rocks etc and looks a good chance in this final event. Quaddie 3, 4, 5, 10 7, 10 4, 7, 9, 10, 15 4, 13, 14 Market Market
