Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 17, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.2 Emeralds No knock on the short priced Tailleur here however just feel this filly is too good a price not to have some on each-way. She resumes here and keep in mind was terrific first up last campaign behind Flit in the Light Fingers at Group 2 level on wet ground. She bled second up so we can forgive that performance before going for the mandatory spell. Trials have been excellent, she’ll give the hot pot a run for her money! RACE 6 No.4 Handspun Absolutely flying this time in and she broke through for a well-deserved win last time out on heavy (9) ground. She will find this a touch harder however a 2.5kg weight drop is in her favour and keep in mind she won with plenty of authority last time out by over 2 lengths. Confident she can win once again. RACE 7 No.2 Black Magnum This race sets up beautifully for this one first up from a break. Spaceboy and Witherspoon are one trick ponies, they go helter skelter from the gates and will make sure this is run at a hectic tempo. Parked in behind should be this one nice and fresh and with a terrific first up and wet track record. Expecting him to stalk early before running right over those two speedsters in the straight. Quaddie 1, 4 2, 11 1, 2 11 Market Market
