Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on May 8, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson Race 3 No. 8 Sophiella Bjorn Baker trained mare who resumes from a break tomorrow off the back of two solid barrier trials which includes a win at the latest on her home track. Looking for her to make good use of her inside gate whilst fresh and take up a midfield or slightly better position in the run as she has a strong finishing burst which could prove too much for her opposition if within striking distance. Race 6 No.2 Laure Me In Doesn’t win out of turn however he does look very close to a breakthrough. No luck when out of the placings two back before little luck when beaten an eyelash on Anzac Day. On that occasion he was held up at a vital stage and arguably should have won. Up a kilo however drawn to gain a cosy trip, definitely each-way though. Race 8 No.8 Snitz Looks to be good value around this Murwillumbah trained galloper who will strip fitter for this tougher assignment second up after scoring a good fresh win. He will settle close up in a race which doesn’t look strong on early speed and drops 5kg in weight from that return victory. A winner here this track and distance I’m more than happy to back each-way. Quaddie 2, 3, 10, 11 1, 2, 11 2, 3, 8 1, 4, 11 Market Market
