Race 2 No.12 Millard Reaction

Very exciting prospect from the Gold Coast stables of Toby Edmonds unbeaten at both Queensland starts to date (Doomben). On each occasion he’s produced a big finish busting the clock late sectionally to charge past his rivals. He’s been thrown in the deep end tomorrow and faces stiffer opposition however he appears well up to the challenge and will be aided by the step up to 1400m.

RACE 4 No.1 Kiamichi

Golden Slipper winner who only has to back up off last Saturdays 3rd in the 1400m Sires Produce to give this a decent shake. Led as expected and gave a good sight before being overhauled over the concluding stages. Back to 1200m ideal tomorrow she’ll take a ton of running down.

RACE 10 No.6 Winter Bride

Stable mate to Millard Reaction who holds a very impressive overall and recent record. In good form during the Melbourne Spring she trialled in terrific order before resuming at Randwick with a good win early last month. She’s been kept nice and fresh for tomorrow’s assignment and will go around at an each-way quote. Likely very good value.
