Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on October 14, 2022October 14, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.8 It’s Me Of course, did win this race going back a couple of years at only start number four. Yes, she’s had her issues since however her two runs this prep both lead-ups to this her main goal have been good. She was dominant at Eagle Farm first up before a close fourth behind the smart Shades Of Rose who goes around in the Everest later in the day. She didn’t have a lot of luck that day and without doubt should have finished closer. She loves the wet & loves the track, if they are able to run on she’ll be the strongest. RACE 7 No.1 Nature Strip Lining up for Everest win number two and I’m confident he’ll get the job done once again. I’ll admit this year’s line up takes on a slightly stronger look with some new faces however at the end of the day with a touch of luck early from the wide draw he’s clearly the one to beat. My opinion only is he’s a better horse now with that overseas trip under the belt. On Grand Final day the best usually win, that’s what I’m expecting on Saturday. RACE 8 No.2 Startantes The 10-million-dollar Golden Eagle is her aim however I’m sure connections will be more than happy to pick up the million-dollar Silver version along the way! Terrific from last first up in a race not run to suit fresh she then ran into a traffic jam second up when looking like being right in the finish of the Golden Pendant three weeks ago. Back 100m in trip perhaps not ideal however we know she’ll get through the ground and at an each-way price I’m happy to stick with her. Quaddie 1 2, 1, 14, 10 1, 14, 3 1, 14, 8, 3 Market Market
