RACE 4 No.4 Nettuno

Tony Gollan trained colt who looks to have found the right race on Saturday. His two runs in Sydney this prep have both been encouraging efforts, he closed strongly in San Domenico beating all bar the winner before running out of room in the Run To The Rose when arguably should have finished closer. He’s raced on heavy ground twice and won them both!

RACE 6 No.1 Zou Tiger

We’re going to be on a very, very wet track at Randwick Saturday and need to look for those who can definitely get through the mud. This Zoustar colt from the O’Shea stable has been on heavy going twice clocking in second on each occasion. The first behind now group 1 winner Zougotcha and the second a narrow defeat behind the smart Resonator. He brings the Group 1 form which rates very highly against this opposition.

RACE 8 No.3 Startantes

The 10-million-dollar Golden Eagle is her aim however I’m sure connections will be more than happy to pick up the million dollar Silver version along the way! Terrific from last first up in a race not run to suit fresh she then ran into a traffic jam second up when looking like being right in the finish of the Golden Pendant two weeks ago. Back 100m in trip perhaps not ideal however we know she’ll get through the ground and at an each-way price I’m happy to stick with her.
