Ascot 24 February – Thoroughbreds Preview Posted on February 23, 2016February 23, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Tips RACE 1 NO. 13 CORVARA The Simon Miller team has been on fire in recent months and they appear to have another smart one in CORVARA. In her recent trial she led and blitzed them, winning by close to 6 lengths under a hold. She should fire straight to the front and be very hard to run down. RACE 5 NO. 3 BACHE Simon Miller looks to have another terrific chance with his speedy mare BACHE. She was in career best form last campaign producing a couple of impressive wins and also running a close second to the smart Queen Of Choice. She has been tuned up with a soft trial win and should be ready to attack this race fresh. RACE 6 NO. 6 FAMOUS SOMEDAY FAMOUS SOMEDAY had little luck at his most recent start when he was bailed up on the fence, found traffic problems and finished strongly. The rise to 1400m looks ideal and provided they can make ground he looks to have strong each-way claims. RACE 7 NO. 7 QUEEN OF CHOICE QUEEN OF CHOICE has returned in good form this campaign including a luckless last start effort in a feature mares’ race at Pinjarra. From her middle draw she should settle midfield and with normal luck will be hard to hold out. Quaddie RACE 5 – 1, 2, 3, 6 RACE 6 – 2, 3, 5, 6, 13 RACE 7– 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 RACE 8 – 2, 5, 9, 12, 13 Bet Now!
