Glenn Ingram’s Wednesday Sale Preview Posted on February 10, 2026February 10, 2026 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 Good maiden. A mix of exposed form and debutantes. SEA TRADER is a big watch, trials have been very impressive and pulled up with lameness on debut at Sandown, worth forgiving one bad run and gelded over the break. SWEET VIXEN could make a winning debut without surprise, the Foxwedge filly has shown promise at the jumpouts her past couple and attacked the line in the manner of a coming winner at her latest. DIVINE EMPRESS has D Lane and looked sharp winning two jumpouts to resume. COVERT MISSION has sound form in his short career to date, he went back to the jumpouts at Mornington between runs and should be at his top now if good enough. Selections: 4,7,6,2 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 2 No speed around so may prove a tactical affair. SOMETHINGSOSTRONG has put two good efforts together and desperately unlucky at Geelong held up at key stages back in the field. Unless he can settle closer the same fate may await. PRINCESS PAINTON showed good improvement into her 2nd preparation with an excellent first-up run at Geelong running through the line with gusto. The issue is the lack of speed to see her best, she’s suited up in trip. STORMY ROMANCE may take up running and SOUL MISTRESS was solid here fresh then just a run at Moe, hard to make a strong case for either. Selections: 5,4,2,6 Suggested Bet: Quinella 5 & 4 RACE 3 SAVISANTA is well-placed in this field to resume, unlucky not to break his maiden last campaign with a number of strong performances in deep races culminating in a VRC Derby finish. Two jumpouts to prepare, both quiet, as is often the case with the stable. He looks hard to beat with any intent first-up. FASTOBID was ok on debut with circumstances against, he profiles as the danger. ELITE PETE had been good prior to a shocker at Geelong, worth forgiving and KADDARI has been competitive despite being a long time maiden, hard to see her winning this. Selections: 5,4,3,6 Suggested Bet: SAVISANTA win RACE 4 Hardest race of the day with a number of winning chances. AFTERBERNA beat all bar her smart stablemate at Pakenham on debut with an excellent effort coming from the back. SATTVA was strongly-fancied at Sandown last start and found a winning spot but couldn’t finish off, jumpout prior was good, worth another chance. TEMU TILLY creates interest on debut for Matt Laurie, blinkers on, recent jumpout encouraging. First starter AUSTRALIAN LEGACY is dual-nominated, if she takes her place here she is a strong consideration. ARWYN ran well on debut and could improve his chances further. Selections: 7,11,12,8 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 5 Even race, many chances. FLOWERDALE ran well here last campaign, she can hit a flat spot in her races but has jumped out impressively to return and has further upside. She’s placed to win fresh and has blinkers come off for this preparation. KEEP IT REAL was beaten into 2nd by a smart one in a high rating maiden at this course first-up, then followed it up to win at Geelong albeit narrowly. Found a tough race to go up in grade. BOLD BORDEAUX will set the speed early but is vulnerable late over 1200m first-up. PURE SILK is going well for a hot stable, she’s in the mix for the minor money. Selections: 4,2,1,5 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 6 TOWER BRIDGE has two modest performances around a high-rating win at Geelong to break his maiden, he’s had a change of stables and gear since his last start defeat and has jumped out in good style at Cranbourne recently, worth another chance back to a 1000m. YAMASHITA’S GOLD was defeated by Tower Bridge in it’s latest jumpout, with very little separating the pair. Wide open race from this point, outside chances to HOTSPUR REALE who was very unlucky first-up, sure to be fitter second-up into the prep. SYMPHONY OF COLOUR disappointed first-up for new stable, needs to lift and with the ear muffs coming off that is possible. Selections: 3,4,5,2 Suggested Bet: TOWER BRIDGE win RACE 7 HOUDINI backs up quickly and appears ready to peak third-up, a third-up winner previously he drifted back after a good beginning last start and chased hard to the line, expect him more positive in the early running here and gets his chance in an easier race. FLAG FLYER is having a great prep, arguably could’ve won more than two races this time in with even luck. He’s getting up in the weights and needs the speed on to suit. TWO SIGMA was gifted the prime run at Sandown last start to break through after a string of a consistent efforts, this is harder again. ZAFFAIR STEAL is honest and can lead the field up, minor claims only. Selections: 2,1,5,7 Suggested Bet: HOUDINI win RACE 8 TEST OF LOVE returns from a HK a fit horse and ready to go first-up if his jumpouts are any guide. Won his latest in good style chasing a fast speed and ran away with it, in a race lacking obvious pace he may be one to take up the running. LETHAL THOUGHTS gets Zoe Waller’s claim and likely to join the speed early from the inside. It looks a race between these two at the top of the weights. BLISTERING is the best of the closing bunch if the race is run along early up front. COULDTHISBETHEONE returns gelded, watch betting. HONEYMAKER and SUNSET BEAUTY next best. Tough finish. Selections: 2,1,3,6 Suggested Bet: Quinella 1 & 2 Market Market
