Harry Buchanans Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 15, 2024April 15, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 7 Red Ned Gundi Has the good draw now over the better start and trip for him. Will muster up very quickly here and if he takes over that should see him go all the way from there. Winner only starts track and trip. Race 4 No. 4 Simone Keeping The start. That’s what we are betting on. If she nails it, and she can, she will accelerate quickly away from these and lead first turn which will then see her not for catching. Has a great turn of foot if she can just get the start right. Big show. Race 5 No. 3 Riverside Lenny He can sometimes be a little tardy at box rise but has an electric turn of foot that goes unnoticed most starts. Drawn to drive up fast here and if he can step with him, he will present as a threat here. Don’t dismiss him. Race 6 No. 5 Full on Frankie and No. 8 Jonah Gundi The 5 back here after a string of Mandurah runs. Hit the frame all three runs track and trip and can improve sharply here. The 8 has a slight class edge on these and he is well drawn here. Will roll down the outside and look to assert himself quickly. Sticks on very strongly. Hard to beat. Race 8 No. 8 Avgas Gundi Another who will dart up out wide and look for that forward spot. Needs room in his races and he gets that here and will just need a clean step at box rise to be a major threat. Great show in this. Race 10 No. 5 Son Of Frankie and No. 3 Pyroclasm The 5 was disappointing last time but can improve quickly in this. Can lead or come from back and goes well track and trip. As does the 3 who is a good stepper and when she gets her own way in front, she’s hard to catch. Kennel flying and goes well here.
