She sat parked three deep throughout and kept coming bravely to the line to finish second behind Uncle Gerard. She’s drawn another sticky alley in barrier 8 of 12 but she looks to have versatility and we’ll back in William Pike to find a spot. With even luck she looks the one to beat. WONDER WEAPON raced from the breeze on debut. Think she’ll go better with cover and should take natural improvement out of the run. CHIPOLARTIE steps out beyond 1000m but should get things her won way in front. TANGLED TALK has shown enough at trials to warrant consideration. Numbers: 8 – 12 – 9 – 7 Suggested Bet – PRINCESS MILLI WIN RACE 2 FOREVER CLASSIC had four runs in her initial preparation and finished no further back than fourth. She looked like saluting on Melbourne Cup day when sailing clear on straightening only to be gunned down by promising filly Madame Magic. Her recent trial without blinkers was impressive and she’s drawn to stalk and pounce. Nice race for her. TEABISCUIT raced greenly on debut and was dictated back towards the ’wrong’ side of the Pinjarra straight. Not a bad effort all things considered. BLAZING EMERALD finished off well on debut in a 2 year old Saturday event. May want further but was still impressive. DIAMOND SAPPHIRE went around in first gear at trials and was still too strong. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 13 – 11 Suggested Bet – FOREVER CLASSIC WIN RACE 3 MADAME MAGIC trialled like a filly who would be hard to hold out at her return to the races. She was ridden out by Alan Kennedy when winning by 3L and the second horse Category Three came out on Saturday and won like a mare who would be going through the grades. Since her emphatic last to first debut victory at Ascot she’s always shown promise and hopefully this is the preparation we get to see the best of her. KELVINATOR has a senior rider going on, rolls across from a wide gate, is proven in the wet and drops back from Saturday grade. IMPERIALIZE was one of the only on speed horses to finish anywhere near Bonjoy in a high pressure race last start and did win on a Soft7 first-up. SIZZLE ME PATRICK was a super trial. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – MADAME MAGIC WIN RACE 4 FALCON TRADER is winning and running time. He beaten Duchess Of Gossip (subsequent winner) first-up in a maiden run 2.5L faster than average on a Soft7 and then went even better second-up running them ragged to win by over 2L in a time 3.5L faster than C1 average. Proven on wet surfaces should the rains eventuate and proven on top of the ground if they don’t. Rolls straight to the top and takes running down. FINAL AUTHORITY gets the same trailing run as he did first-up when gunning down Rock This Town. Extra 200m shouldn’t pose any real problems. TWICE A FORTNIGHT comes back to 1200m from a mile and will concede them a big head start. LUCKY’S WAY should enjoy a soft midfield run. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 2 – 8 Suggested Bet – FALCON TRADER WIN RACE 5 TRIPLE JAY went around odds on last start coming out of a maiden. He landed an ideal spot early but then through a wonderful piece of tactical riding by Holly Watson was dictated back into a pocket and forced to use the cutaway. The cutaway zone was noticeably inferior ground to the rest of the track that day and so his run was still full of merit. You could easily argue this is a weaker race than last start. LUCKY LANDING is back to the same rating as he was first-up when winning in style. DAZZLING DANE is a handy mare on her day and should be a nice acquisition for her new connections. NYET finally put it all together last start and won well. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – TRIPLE JAY WIN RACE 6 BANDALERA BEAU comes into this a month between runs and drops back to 1650m. He’s proven in the wet, he’s fit and he’s been racing with good consistency over the last few months. Won a 0MWLY two starts ago on a Soft6 and now lines up in a C3 at an eachway price with William Pike aboard. Nice race for him. TIFF’S LAD was eyecatching in the Sky Provincial Championship Final. That was a very fast run race (9L faster than average) and has already produced winner in Civvy Street. Big respect. CLIMB ON TOP was enormous last start. Savaged the line from an impossible position through heavy traffic. 1200 to 1650m is an ask. CHEERFUL MOMENT wasn’t actually that bad last week in the wrong part of the track. Numbers: 7 – 4 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – BANDALEREA BEAU EACHWAY RACE 7 CABLE GUY has been going great guns. Won a 52+ at Narrogin four starts back and then has finished in the money at his three runs since. Thought he did a great job to fight on into second behind Django Dream last start after making a mid-race move in a race where they were already rolling in the middle stages. Open race and one of many, many chances. DANCE OF THE SOUTH comes through the same race as Cable Guy and meets him 2kg better for being beaten three quarters. Shouldn’t be much between them here. RUBY NOIR was jogging in behind them on straightening but couldn’t quite sprint past them in the concluding stages. Was over a month between runs going into that event so should come on quickly. RED HOT HOPE hasn’t had much luck since he finished alongside Cable Guy three starts back. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 2 – 9 Suggested Bet – CABLE GUY EACHWAY RACE 8 DUCHESS OF GOSSIP is still a work in progress but there’s clearly a motor to work with. She was wayward at Kalgoorlie on debut, she chased hard behind a talented 3 year old second-up (Falcon Trader) and then was an effortless third-up winner over Red Rebel (subsequent winner). Not easy to go from a maiden into a C1 and rise 2.5kg but she’s drawn to get the run of the race and looks like she’ll keep improving. CHINA SPIRIT comes out of a high rating 3 year old Saturday race. He was very good late and is screaming out for 1400m. DEBONNAIRE went from a maiden to a 60+ Graduation and somehow jumped $2.40. This is much more suitable. WHO BE WHATEE won a weak maiden last Thursday. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – DUCHESS OF GOSSIP WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3 2,4,7 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12 1,2,4,7 Market Market
