Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on June 25, 2021June 25, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 25th June 2021 Race 6 – No. 1 Quartararo Just behind the placegetters in all of his past three but has everything in his favour tonight and should prove too strong at the finish. Race 8 – No. 3 Straw Bear Consistent of late with podium finishes in 3 of his past 4. Ran on strongly to just miss another last week and with improvement at box rise, he can go mighty close in this. Race 9 – No. 6 One Times Square Best to forget her most recent run when finding trouble at a crucial stage. Prior to that she was racing in career best form and is capable of making amends in this line up. Each Way: Race 4 – No. 7 Harper’s Hero Will be relying on luck but if his main rivals who are drawn side by side come to grief early and don’t pinch a break on him, he is more than capable of motoring over the top of them late. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.4.6 / 1.2.7 / 3.5.6 / 1.3.7 $50 for 46.29% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 26th June 2021 Race 4 – No. 8 Pixie Monelli Has found her best again with back to back slick 490m wins in FFA company. Was struggling when to beat runners home when last seen here but with confidence back on her side, she can notch up the hat trick. Race 7 – No. 5 We The People Solid in her return to WA with a narrow 4th against stiffer opposition than this last week. Draw a concern but the small field suits and tonight looks to be her night that she returns to her winning best. Race 8 – No. 7 Bonanza Monelli Does his best work from wide draws, having only missed the place once in 6 tries from boxes 7 & 8. This field has more depth to what he met on those 6 occasions but with clear running in transit, he’ll take plenty of beating. Each Way: Race 2 – No. 7 Turbo Fun His only run over this trip was when he made his race debut, from this very draw to finish 4th way back in February last year. Since then he has gone on to salute the judge on 19 occasions, all at Mandurah but gave a good sight over the 275m here last start and is not without a winning chance in this. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.5.8 / 1.4.7.8 / 1.2.4.8 / 1.7 $50 for 39.06% Trifecta – Race 4 1.8 / 1.5.8 / 1.2.3.5.8 First Four – Race 8 1.7 / 1.7 / 2.3.6.8 / 2.3.4.6.8 $50 for 156.25% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 27th June 2021 Race 2 – No. 8 Dodgem Lacy Tarnished her solid record from this draw with back to back 4ths at her past couple. Is right down in grade now though and is worth giving one more chance to find her best. Race 3 – No. 2 Barriles Impressive without winning on debut, earning a silver medal in good time from a poor draw. Should find the front here and if he does, his rivals will have trouble getting past him. Race 8 – No. 7 Mild Marcus The class runner who has been mixing form of late but does his best work from out wide and will appreciate the drop in grade. Can bounce back. Bet Now! Bet Now!
