Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on April 9, 2021April 9, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 9th April 2021 Race 6 – No. 8 Yarrinup Flyer Slick beginner who has found the 520m on his limit. This distance should suit and only needs to handle the wide to repay his loyal followers. Race 8 – No. 4 Atomic Rooster Did it tough from a wide draw last week but back in a more familiar guernsey for this assignment. Has the early pace and if leading early, he’ll take plenty of catching. Race 9 – No. 2 Mild Marcus Right down in grade now and while recent form on paper looks average, his runs have been full of merit where he has had excuses. Drawn favourably and a return to form can be expected in this. Each Way: Race 11 – No. 4 Mon Leslie In and around the placings over a variety of distances at headquarters recently. Her last win was her only victory over this trip in a slick 27.59 but it would be no surprise to see her replicate that effort in this line up. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2 / 8 / FLD / 1.4 $50 for 156.25% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 10th April 2021 Race 2 – No. 1 Rapido Lass Not seen since late October but from an astute kennel who will have her primed on resumption. Drawn perfectly in red and should give plenty of cheek out in front. Race 10 – No. 4 Wise Thunder Has the early toe to overcome the awkward draw. Form in FFA company has been strong and while a winner in just one of nine over the trip, his times suggest he’ll be a major player in the penultimate heat of the Perth Cup. Race 11 – No. 2 Jackson County Fitter for a resuming 3rd at massive odds last week when starting from an unsuitable alley. Has only missed the placings twice over this trip and must be considered as a strong winning chance in in favourite rug. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 7 Lashes Monelli Finally broke through at start twenty with a narrow Maiden 520m win last week. Has been doing her best work at the end of proceedings and looks as though she’ll handle the rise in distance. Class may test but is worth a an Each Way ticket at double-figure odds. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.6.7.8 / 1 / 1 / 1.2.3.7.8 $50 for 200% Trifecta – Race 1 1.4 / 1.4.7.8 / 1.2.4.5.7.8 $30 for 375% First Four – Race 7 1 / 2.4.8 / 2.4.6.7.8 / 2.3.4.6.7.8 $50 for 104.16% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 11th April 2021 Race 5 – No. 4 Vitriol No luck last start from this very draw so best to forget he went around. Go on a hat trick of wins prior to last start in slick times when leading all the way in each. Can bounce back. Race 6 – No. 2 Divided Dropping in distance but drawn favourably and will be strong at the finish. Has proven himself over this trip in the past and cannot be overlooked. Race 9 – No. 8 West On Archer A winner in two of his past three, both from this very draw in solid times. No reason why he can’t win again. Keep following. Bet Now! Bet Now!
