The Scout: EPL Week 31 Posted on April 9, 2021April 9, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Manchester City vs Leeds United Manchester City sit 14 points clear on top of the Premier League table and enter this match off the back of a fantastic 2-1 midweek win over Dortmund in the Champions League. Leeds (11th) are clear of any relegation worries and can play knowing their place in next season’s Premier League is secure. This season they’ve played an exciting brand of football that leads to goals at both ends of the pitch, as seen with their tallies of 47 goals for, and 48 against. City should be able to control this match from the opening whistle and their class and attacking prowess should ultimately see them prevail. Leeds don’t go goalless very often and I’m backing them to find the back of the net again here. Suggested Bet: Manchester City & Both Teams To Score @ $2.50* West Ham vs Leicester City Something of a surprise blockbuster sees 3rd placed Leicester City and 4th placed West Ham United square off in a match that will no doubt play a big part in the final standings come season’s end. Leicester come into this fixture having been completely shutout by Manchester City 2-0 while West Ham won a shootout with Wolverhampton 3-2. West Ham have mixed their form over the last month, but one consistency has been on-loan attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard. The Englishman has scored three goals in his last four matches and looks the man most likely for the Hammers. Suggested Bet: Jesse Lingard Anytime Goalscorer @ $3.10* West Brom vs Southampton West Brom (19th) come into this match off the back of a shock 5-2 victory over Chelsea, and although the Blues were handed an early red card, it was still a mighty performance given the season they’ve had. Southampton (13th) scored a much needed 3-2 victory over Burnley last weekend, and although they are safe from relegation, they would be bitterly disappointed in their season to date. Southampton were their attacking best last weekend with Danny Ings’ return giving them a completely different look up front. With Ings looking ominous, coming up against a West Brom defense that has conceded more goals than any other side this season (59), the Saints look the bet of the round. Suggested Bet: Southampton (Match Result) @ $2.15* *Odds correct as at 2pm, 9th April 2021. Market Market
