Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on August 7, 2020August 7, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 7th August 2020 Race 2 – No. 3 Yankee Fun Well-performed over the similar 275m trip at Cannington. He has had no luck at his past two over 405m from similar draws but will be hard to run down if he finds his pinging best on debut over this 302m journey. Race 7 – No. 2 Incredible Hero Mixing form at Cannington but when last seen here, he proved too slick for a stronger line up then this, leading all the way in a PB of 27.46 as the outside of the field. Likely to start favourite but class will prevail. Race 10 – No. 1 Uno Carla Returns from an injury enforced spell and a winner in just 1 of 10 over the trip but she has drawn nicely for her comeback and will find this easier than when last in work. Can poke through late along the rails for the upset. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 3 He’s For Me Has been placed inhalf of his 12 starts since making the move to WA. He is capable of a good getaway and will be strong at the business end. Can finish on the podium again at juicy odds. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.4.5 / 1.2.4.6 / 2 / 1.3.5.6 $50 for 104.16% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 8th August 2020 Race 2 – No. 7 West On Roger Put in the best effort of his short career when leading all the way from this draw last start, posting a BON 29.71 to graduate to graded company. This is tougher but he should get the cart across by SPEED MISSILE (6) early and prove too strong at the finish. Race 8 – No. 6 Counting Kuna Back to his brilliant best when pouncing to the top and exploding away from his rivals to post a new PB of 21.54 in tougher last time out. Can handle a wide draw and can give them something else to chase again. Race 10 – No. 4 Fab’s Vera Never out of trouble on Wednesday when losing momentum on numerous occasions but still finished off nicely for 3rd when just behind THEN WHAT (1). Has one runner less to contend with and this isn’t a strong. Should go much closer this time around. Each Way: Race 3 – No. 4 Cocoon Racing consistently since switching to this trip and fought on strongly when just pipped last week by the classy Blue Summer Sky. If he lands if front, he’ll give a bold sight. Strong Each Way claims. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.3 / 4.5.7.8 / 1.2 / 5.6.8 $50 for 69.44% Trifecta – Race 3 2.4.5.7 / 2.4.5.7 / 1.2.4.5.7 $30 for 83.33% First Four – Race 2 2.6.7 / 2.6.7 / 2.3.6.7 / 2.3.4.5.6.8 $50 for 108.69% Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 9th August 2020 Race 1 – No. 1 Par Peppi Has been costly to follow but he has been racing without muck luck and the favourable red rug should assist him in bouncing back to his best. Race 4 – No. 8 Prancing Turbo Has run some strong races over this trip against tougher opposition than what he meets today. He possesses a good record in pink and looks the one to beat in this. Race 6 – No. 2 Limberg Nemesis Has the times on the board over this trip and can carve out a strong early sectional. Has the draw to use her early pace and will be fighting out the finish once again.
