Chris Nelson’s Ipswich Best Bets Posted on July 17, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 6 No.4 Vincere Volare Smart filly who just might be getting back to her better form. Most of her starts have been in much stronger company where she has on occasions performed well suggesting with a touch of luck getting over early from an awkward draw she can figure strongly in the finish here. Bolted in at the Gold Coast last time out running time and wasn’t pushed out late. RACE 7 No.5 Pennino Very consistent mare however she seems to run into more bad luck than good. Two back she never got a crack at the opposition when bolting early in the straight and last time out she raced wide throughout before closing solidly late. She looks well placed in the Eye Liner tomorrow and 1200m is definitely her pet trip. Confident she’ll run well and at a good price. RACE 9 No.14 Amicitia Big odds about this very consistent mare from the Tony Gollan stable who can certainly figure in this Listed affair for the fillies and mares. Yes, she’s stepping up in grade however she won’t know herself with the 54kg on her back having lumped 60.5 & 59.5kg within her past three starts which resulted in a win and placing. She maps well and is unbeaten here winning both attempts Quaddie 4, 6, 9 4, 5, 9 1, 7, 11 1, 2, 5, 14 Market Market
