Surprised to see AEMOND line up over 1000m, he was competitive against good opposition in a recent Caulfield jumpout, respect the stable and rider combination. SILENT GRIT resumes gelded and is the pick of the exposed form. Local BRENIN has D Lane, minor money hope.

Race 2

JADZIA is a pure speed horse suited to 1000m out of the chute start and entitled to her short price resuming from good jumpouts at Cranbourne. The threats are the unraced OVER EXCITED who looks a natural runner and professional filly for the Freedman’s, she’s been well-educated in jumpouts and has B Shinn. SECRET CROSSING debuts for Shane Jackson and suited at 1000m, D Lane inside draw a bonus. LONDON FIELDS for Maher, a watch in betting.

Low race. CARRY TRADE has been disappointing after promising more at the jumpouts, blinkers added could see an improvement, poisonous odds. Race 4

Like the progression to 1400m for SAINT FOX lining up for his 2nd start after debuting with a solid placing at Geelong when didn’t all get favours, cut out of a run late when squeezed. Found a suitable race this time. CAPTAIN REDBEARD ran on well fresh, no public trials or jumpouts, may have privately, money for him on the day. MELBOURNE BOY bumped into a smart one in Blind Raise on debut and spelled, he was the only taking ground off him. Gelded. No trials or jumpouts, private? Watch betting.

Race 5

ELECTRIC ELVIS was a hot horse early days and now matured into a racehorse and putting it all together for Reece Goodwin, combining with D Lane, the wide gate is tricky but has the speed to cross if they want to use it. YAUSON is a market watch first-up for Waterhouse & Bott, typically forward in Flem jumpouts and looks the danger. CINDY FALLS has class and a strong finish if the speed sets up for her, CROWN CRUSHER ran well fresh and in the mix.

WRITTEN GLOW has been touring the jumpouts of Melbourne since knocking up at her Australian debut, found to be lame and had an internal bleed. Race 7

Like the map for ALWAYS ENUFF, impressed at the jumpouts to resume and lands in behind a hot speed with most of them drawn wide on the track. VAIN CHAMPAGNE has been nominated at Sale and Sandown since a neat finish at the Flemington jumpouts, she’s ready to win in the right race, this might be tricky with the inside barrier, no rider engaged. WEAPON CLEAR is nicely at the weights, may cop pressure.

Race 8

Tough race. The speed should be genuine at least. RAF ATTACK was good at the jumpouts resuming for Team McEvoy and can race handy to the speed. ZEBRA FINCH is fit and in-form, ran well behind a subsequent winner last start in a stronger race. ZORRO’S FLIGHT had no luck at a key stage behind Perfect Ten, back in trip a positive. YAHOO BAR resumes, goes forward with a crossover nose band added.
