Race 1

D MAC (5) is a serious talent who can do the work in his races and will be looking to get on speed and use that depth to crush anyone in his way, will be very hard to stop. IM STEALTHY (6) should follow across and be close to the speed and looks to get a good run and put up a big performance. HAVTIMEFORMIKI (4) was ultra impressive at Northam equalling the track record, expecting him to potentially run to the lead and we will learn more about him in this. PATRIARCH (2) was very strong in the return trial, has always shown good ability, good test on return but looks more of a novelty chance with WAR CRY (3) and SKINNY DIPPIN (7).

Suggested Bet: D MAC (5) to win.

Race 2

ATLAS THE TITAN (5) has come back well and will be heading forward looking for the top, should run another consistent and solid race here. ELITE FLEET (2) hasn’t been at his best but also had been devoid of luck in recent runs, gets an improved draw to potentially lead and run a better race. BEAT THE BANK (1) is racing in good form, lovely place chance from the draw. ITS MAA TIME (12) returns and is highly talented, respect her in this. SUGAR SHAKE (11) didn’t have much luck last time out and is a novelty chance with other hopes to WHOS THE DAD (4), CHACO EAGLE (8) and HOLD THE AMMO (10).

Suggested Bet: BEAT THE BANK (1) to place.

Race 3

BOY BLUE (7) is highly talented on return, might need the run but still can get the job done, market will tell a tale in this. RAKLOU (1) is ready to win, if she can lead, she will take all kinds of running down but there is some early speed to her outside including SHEER ROCK LADY (2) and ART IDEAL (5) who are both chances if finding their way to the top. If that correlates to a decent lead time it’ll bring MAGIC CAPTAIN (8), OVERLY EXCITED (11) and RAKERO RAIDER (12) into the race as they’re all racing well.

Suggested Bet: BOY BLUE (7) to win.

Race 4

SOHO SHAKEDOWN (3) took ground off Magnificent Storm last time out and has come back in tremendous form, should run to the lead and should be spot on now which doesn’t bode well for his rivals. FULL SWING DENARIO (1) did too much early last start, has the speed to lead early and take cover and be a good place chance. OUR CRUNCH TIME (5) will work across and do the work and has proven that he can stick on. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (10) is ideally drawn, novelty chance with SAIFA (11), WATER LOU (12) and MACHNIFICENT (9).

Tips: 3 1 5 10

Suggested Bet: SOHO SHAKEDOWN (3) to win.

Race 5

NEVER ENDING (2) loves to run and think he will be given a licence to roll in this; over the mile he can use his speed early and keep them chasing. HARRISON JOHN (6) creates a heap of interest coming into this, highly talented and has proven his worth in NZ, looks a strong chance in this. LUCCA (1) will get a lovely run but is up in grade and will be chasing hard throughout, novelty chance with SWEET PINS (10) who follows the rails well. PENNY BLACK (4) will get a decent run and is a novelty chance and give top 4 chances to YOURE SO FINE (8) and HOTLY PURSUED (12).

Tips: 2 6 1 10

Suggested Bet: NEVER ENDING (2) to win.

Race 6

OUR TWINKLE (4) was sound in his debut at Northam, looks a serious chance in this but was a bit hot and cold with the way he travelled at Northam, good test here but looks hard to beat. THE BEAUDSTER (2) is talented and returns off the back of a decent trial, will be looking for the top and give them something to catch if he got there. CURADH (6) has the high speed to negate the draw, just needs to find a position. SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (1) rises in grade but is better suited with the draw, novelty chance. Difficult for the others from their respective draws.

Tips: 4 2 6 1

Suggested Bet: OUR TWINKLE (4) to win.

Race 7

SOUTH SIDE STORY (8) is a work horse and on return will be looking to head forward and is coming off the back of a decent trial, should be ready to go on return. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (2) also trialled well before her return, looks a solid chance in this. MY HAMMER DOWN (7) has always had plenty of ability and must be respected on return. DAT LOVELY (1) gets the good draw, novelty chance with AZIONE (5), ZLATO (6) and JOEY JAMES (10).

Tips: 8 2 7 1

Suggested Bet: SOUTH SIDE STORY (8) to win.

Race 8

Open race. UNLUCKY (2) looks the likely leader here but she has been just sound when leading her last two, suitable grade and will be there at the business end but lacks a bit of high speed. OFFICIAL ROCK (5) is high speed, and this class suits on return, should run a big race in this. BULL SHARK BETTY (1) is ideally drawn and has been placed in metro grade before, will get a good run. SUGAR STREET (8) returned well, should bounce off that well and is a chance with COLD HARD CASH (9) who hands down has the best form in the field and is ready to win but he needs some luck from out there. TAXI IT IS (10) racing soundly with BET ON THE RIVER (7).

Tips: 5 9 2 1

Suggested Bet: OFFICIAL ROCK (5) each way.

Race 9

BROUGHT TO LIGHT (7) should bounce off the last run well and can keep them honest in this and think he could get the job done in this, strong chance. CAPTAINSHAVTIME (3) looks the leader but hasn’t been at her best, gets a good opportunity to run well. CAPTAINS CREEK (8) has elevated in recent runs but won’t have to do as much work in this and has a decent turn of foot. SALSAWITHSIERRA (2) can use her speed early to get a good position and become a novelty chance. KINKY (1) a top four player but the early speed has always been a concern of hers.

Tips: 7 3 2 8

Suggested Bet: BROUGHT TO LIGHT (7) to win.

Race 10

SPIRIT OF SAHARA (3) was belted from pillar to post in the WA debut, has good early speed and looks a strong chance to lead and this looks easier, very hard to beat. GELSOMINO AMAL (2) will burn off the arm and look to lead early, think she would take the cover and get the last look at them. STATE MY CASE (1) returns and can mix the early speed, improved last time out. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (5) was a better effort last run, nice horse when he is on speed, draw is a touch awkward. INTO THE FUTURE (10) is a novelty chance with MIKI WINDERMERE (9).
