Scott Embry’s Sunday Bunbury Preview Posted on December 20, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 FAIR ONE has put the writing on the wall at his last two. Jo Leeson’s stable have been going great guns for the last 3 months and she is bobbing up with winners left right and center. Leads and takes running down. AMAZING LOVE continues to knock on the door and a maiden win is just round the corner. NOT REALLY TRUE had nothing go right last start when pulling like a train. Shades off, improver. SECRET PEARL has run strong late sections at both career outings. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – FAIR ONE WIN Race 2 ROCKAFELLA has not won a race for over 1000 days. But both his starts this campaign have been encouraging. He draws a gate and gets his chance to finally break through in WA and cause the mini boil over. WE’VE GOT DREAMS is a lightly raced filly who is improving at every outing and will be awfully hard to beat. Leads on her ear and controls. GESSATO won well first-up but this is harder. COSMIC EYES is an interesting mare who really wants to charge but is running well from off pace. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – ROCKAFELLA WIN Race 3 SATURDAY SUN leads and should finally break through after running back to back second placings. Dropping from a mile back to a 1400 he chased hard at his last two behind leaders and winners Tradensia and Aragain. WESTERN CHANT has been hitting the line very hard and steps out in trip. Big danger. WICKLOW PRINCESS steps out to 1400 and will be interesting to see whether she can stick the trip. LONSDALE LADY should improve after debuting at a mile. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – SATURDAY SUN WIN Race 4 OBSINATION has been costly to punters in recent times going under on a number of occasions when well thought of but all of those runs have been full of merit and she looks to have found another suitable race. Smothered up just behind them she can get over the top late. SWEET STRAWBERRY trialed well alongside Mogul Magic (who was $4 into $2.05 on Wednesday). PIP has form behind subsequent winners This’ll Testya and Tinto Belle which jumps off the page. WAR ANTHEM is super consistent and Bruce Watkins white hot. Numbers: 8 – 11 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – OBSTINATION WIN Race 5 ABU DHABI is a free rolling, bold front runner. If conditions are suiting those on speed then he’ll give a stack of cheek. Looked gone at the top of the corner last start but it’s hard not to admire the way he digs deep and fights. CELTIC COURT was run off his feet in the same race and never looked comfortable. The mile should suit. SWIFT MIRAGE finally draws a gate. Keep safe. YOU AM I will be chasing the speed and is honest. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – ABU DHABI WIN Race 6 COLD AS COLD comes up from the Great Southern and has been slowly building into the preparation. He looks very well suited to sitting three back the fence or even leader’s back and pinging late. Chased hard behind War Jeune last start. AFLICA’S GIRL was given a peach by Bennett last start to score in a lowly rated race. Is in form and can continue her winning ways. FETCH MORE AMMO simply had to win last start after being huge the start prior. Interesting that Hill jumps ship. FASHION FORWARD ran a brave race last weekend. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 5 – 10 Suggested Bet – COLD AS COLD WIN Race 7 FIRESALE will need an ounce of luck from a poor gate but Beaux Edwards is riding well and Brett Pope’s yard normally start to wheel out their winners from January to June. Trialed well and can run a race. BEE QUICK drops out of far stronger races than this and if she can settle in running will be right in the finish. FAMILY DISCUSSION has caught the eye recently and draws nicely. REBOW is jumping and running and thriving on that race pattern. ‘Big Bow’ for Broome horse of the year 2020? #scenes Numbers: 1 – 6 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – FIRESALE EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,4,6,8,10,11 1,2,7 2,3,4,5,9,10 1,4,6 Market Market
