Race 1

REYKJAVIK has seldom raced in this kind of company. He should be lengths better than opposition. ICECRUSHER found trouble in a Class 1 at Pinjarra. BOMBARDMENT is a maiden but looks a genuine place chance. LUCKY ROAR could be a rare Jim Taylor miler.

PROCEEDWITHCAUTION gets his best chance in recent years to notch another win if he parks on top of a very slow tempo. TOUCH OF SILVER has class but will need to come from last after they walk the first 1000m. WOODSVILLE was far from disgraced last week. FRIARESQUE is warming up quickly.

REMEMBER BERLIN is a query at the trip but his form over the sprint trips looks more than adequate to win this. BLACKLINE should find the front and run them along. Nice filly in the making. RAGAZZO D’ORO won well last weekend, this is slightly harder. GOMER WIPPLE next best.

I’M FEELING LUCKY tackled far tougher assignments over on the East Coast. Freshen up back to a mile she looks tough to roll. CELEBRITY DREAM is going gangbusters but has never raced at this trip before. FIRST AFFAIR deserves a bit of black type the way she’s going. ROCK GISELLE was not suited with the rail out so far.

Race 5

RUSSIAN RIVER was brave with a massive weight last weekend. The claim helps and he should position perfectly up on the speed. SCOONER went close to beating him first up last preparation. KING OF WU is consistent. OMINOUS WARNING can lead them up and give cheek.

ZARANTZ should be peaking for this race and may even roll forwards in the small field. MATERIAL MAN showed last preparation that he will be tough to get past in these weight for age staying features. POUNAMU was awesome in both the Railway and Kingston Town. TRAP FOR FOOLS just keeps winning and thrives off a quick back up.

Race 7

HELMS GATE is a quality animal on his day and he should get a lovely run in transit behind a hot top end speed. MAJINIKA likely finds the front and that’s where he does his best work. CUANZO should enjoy a soft run on the fence. SETTLERS CREEK is always there abouts.

Numbers: 11 – 1 – 10 – 6

Race 8

INVINCIBLE WARRIOR never got a crack at them first-up when he missed away over 1000m. There is an abundance of speed here and he should box seat. WHERE’S WALLY trailed well and then found the short course a bit sharp. Big improver here. SCALPEL was brave first-up and blinkers are added. IMPERIAL VENUS did not compete first-up, he could sneak under the radar.
