Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Moe Preview Posted on February 7, 2023February 7, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 All the debutantes have shown something at trials/jumpouts. TREASURWAY won a trial at Geelong in good style. MUST GO quickened nicley to win a jumpout at Flemington. PANTELONE has been jumping out well recently at both Werribee and Flemington. EUGENIUS wasn’t far off last Sunday’s impressive winner Tiz Enuff in his latest jumpout. ELDEBERRY had looked good at the jumpouts prior to her debut when she was slowly away. SUPERSONIC SURGE has also been jumping out quite well. Selections: 8,3,5,1 Suggested Bet: Happy to look and learn Race 2 Plenty to learn with all the debutantes displaying talent in recent jumpouts. NINNITA closed of well in a recent jumpout behind FIGURANTE, who rode the speed. BASQUE has been jumping out in good style and was well in the market in what has proved to be a strong maiden on debut. UNLEASH hasn’t been tested in recent jumpouts but looks to move well. LOUNGE BAR RUBI held his ground well out wide in a recent Flemington jumpout, which is usually a good sign. ALBANIAN WRESTLER looks suited out to 1100m after an encouraging debut. Selections: 8,5,11,2 Suggested Bet: Small bet Ninnita to win Race 3 HUMMING was an expensive yearling purchase with an impressive pedigree. She has looked good in her trials and jumpouts and appears ready to make her presence felt on debut. KING’S CHAMBER has a fitness and experience edge and is close to breaking through. RED DUSTER has jumped out well to resume for his second preparation. STORMING AHEAD has been jumping out ok. Selections: 9,3,11,4 Suggested Bet: Humming to win Race 4 DEAL OBTAINED was narrowly beaten by a smart horse in Triumphant Miss here on debut. He had his chance in a slowly run race on that occasion but is sure to be better for the experience. ATTEINDRE has a similar form line, she finished alongside Triumphant Miss in her debut and shapes as the main danger. FASHION EMPIRE worked home ok on debut and looks suited out to 1600m. OUR ORATOR is a likely improver with blinkers on. Selections: 2,9,3,4 Suggested Bet: Deal Obtained to win Race 5 Expect DESPERADO to be ridden more quietly than his latest run and be hard to beat. He has jumped out well when ridden off speed in a jumpout between runs. COMMODUS won well here two starts back and his last run was much better than it reads on paper. OCEANOGRAPHY is hard fit and gets blinkers off. FRANKIE TWO ANGELS will make his own luck in the small field and loos the other key hope. Selections: 1,3,2,5 Suggested Bet: Desperado to win Race 6 Competitive race despite the small field. RHINOCEROS looks to control the speed with SUIZURO and both have strong claims. KWOI HOI will likely sit off the speed but will be strong late. INDIFFERENCE has been frustrating but had genuine excuses last time when blinkers went on. MAUI will strip fitter and has jumped out well between runs. GRENOBLE makes his Australian debut and has been jumping out quite well. Selections: 3,4,6,1 Suggested Bet: Rhinoceros to win Race 7 Tough race to sort out with some of the better credentialed runners coming off below par performances.. DRAKE PASSAGE won an easier race in dominant fashion last start and will strip fitter. Have to forgive TEOFILO STAR after having a tough run first up in stronger company. EMPEROR OF FRANCE will strip fitter third up and capable of much better than his last start. TATSURO and ROMANIA have claims. Selections: 3,1,2,5 Suggested Bet: Small bet Drake Passage to win Race 8 BLUESTONE LANE has jumped out well between runs following an encouraging second up performance. The gap between runs is some query but this is his favourite trip. MT NISEKO won well first up and didn’t appear comfortable on the rain affected ground last time. PERPIGNAN has jumped out well to resume and maps for a good run. PALAGGIO was well below market expectations first up but was noted as pulling up with a slow recovery. Selections: 2,3,10,6 Suggested Bet: Bluestone Lane to win Market Market
