Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Tips

MANDURAH

Race 3 No. 8 All Over Kaja

Back to his best box here. Couldn’t get around the leader last week and kept clipping off him to then run wide turning. Will accelerate again quickly here and look for the arm. If he gets it to himself this time he won’t be for catching. Start critical.

Race 4 No. 8 Volunteering

Very good run Friday night and while the leaders ran off, he was already making good ground and would have been close to the podium. Easier here and will start his run up the back again and be hard to hold out.

Race 5 No. 5 Garnett’s Gem and No. 6 Exile Dreamer

The 5 was very very unlucky in his heat. Went very fast to all but get under the leader first turn when stood on his head and checked out of it. He can go well here with a good step. He’s going better than it looks. The 6 is the surprise packet and gets a save. Can step and is also finishing off well here and will be prominent throughout. Can figure.

Race 6 No. 3 Daph’s Yak and No. 6 Weblec Bliss

The 3 was superb breaking through on Friday in fast time. Goes quick off the mat and can repeat the effort to score again. Save on the 6  who can give a sight here. Racing well and only has to offset the box early to be an EW player.

Race 7 No. 7 Raised

He’s good this bloke. Ready for the step up now and will look for the fence up the back to start his run. Has put in some monsters over the 405m and will be attack the line with gusto here if he’s close turning.

Race 8 No. 4 Timmy Timebomb and No. 2 Big Flash Unit

The 4 looks ready after a super effort last week. Just couldn’t cross when sticking on well to run 2nd and should find the top this time. Won’t be caught if he does. The 2 is a smoky and will stalk the leaders and look for a run turning. Will hit the line and can surprise EW.

MURRAY BRIDGE

Race 4 No. 8 Kruger Dawn and No. 7 Willow

The 8 was excellent first up and is suited out wide. Will find improvement on the heat run and some time on the clock. The 7 was a fraction unlucky in the same heat and expect a forward showing here. Runs through the line well up the straight and will close off late.

Race 5 No. 5 Calix Bale

Will give a sight if he handles the straight and I think he will. Box the only concern but can muster quickly and will look a chance if he can land near the arm early. EW go at the odds.

Race 8 No. 1 Woodside Zulu

Gee he was disappointing last week but he is much better than that. This slightly easier and boxed to give these plenty of his best turns up. Just has to show more early this time and he will get over them with his last section.

Race 9 No. 6 Lot Of Poise

The best EW play all day. Very good run last week at his first go here and will derive a stack from that. Box isn’t that bad and will drive up quickly here and look a huge hope with a clear passage. Can hit the podium and is over the odds here.
