Race 1

ROCK ME OVER (1) has won two of his last four starts in easier company and gets his chance from the pole tonight. He was suited by the tempo when a solid 2nd here last week and will give them something to catch if he can hold up at the start. THEREUGO (11) is a lot better suited from the front line but drops considerably in class and can be in the finish. HY LEEXCITING (10) had his chance when leading last week but can play a part from this draw. PICK MY POCKET (4) will appreciate this easier assignment and won’t be far away.

Suggested Bet: ROCK ME OVER (1) each way.

Race 2

JUST MAKE MINE DIAMONDS (11) was held up when 3rd to Dracarys before leading throughout to record a comfortable victory here last week. She goes to the backline tonight but still appeals as the one to beat. TAJIE BABY (3) led throughout from this draw and beat the talented Flying Mister Ideal last start and will be hard to catch if she finds the top. LIVE LIKE A ROYAL (1) has been racing well in weaker company and should give a sight from the pole. RADIANT AMBER (2) has won three of her last four and must be considered.

Race 3

IDEAL LINER (7) built up an imposing record last campaign and has won 10 of his 14 career starts. He resumes here without a trial but can get to the breeze at his leisure and should prove hard to beat if anywhere near his top. OCEAN RIDGE (1) broke back into the winners’ circle with a comfortable victory here last week. He will lead here and has race fitness on his side. CONVERT DENARIO (8) is the other class runner of the field but the draw makes it tough. SERGEANT OATS (2) can be placed from his nice barrier.

Suggested Bet: IDEAL LINER (7) to win.

Race 4

BETTOR REWARD (1) is a different horse in front and led throughout in 1.54.6 here two starts back. This is a tougher assignment but he will still give a great sight. SPEED MAN (3) faced the breeze when a gallant 4th in 1.54.0 here last week and will be a major player tonight. CAVIAR STAR (4) will be fitter for his first-up run and is the class runner of the field. GOTTA GO GABBANA (10) isn’t suited by the draw but can run into the money if there is a solid tempo.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR REWARD (1) to win.

Race 5

GRAN CHICO (2), raced in top company in NZ and won as he liked at his only WA start. This is significantly harder but he has a lovely draw and should run a big race. BLETCHLEY PARK (1) has led throughout in good time here recently and will be a major player if he can rebound from his last start. GEE JAY KAY (3) battled on extremely well after working hard in a quickly run race last start and will be thereabouts if the tempo is kinder tonight. WILDWEST (9) is still probably the best horse in the field but the draw makes it tough.

Suggested Bet: BLETCHLEY PARK (1) each way.

Race 6

ATTACK ON COMMAND (1) has done most of his recent racing in stands and has finished 2nd at his past two starts. He is racing extremely well and will give them something to catch if he can hold up at the start.  BOB WHEEL (2) was a strong winner at his last start before a spell and should give a great sight from this draw. BLACK JACK ZAC (4) ran on strongly to finish 3rd in a stronger field here last week and will be charging home again. MARQUISARD (10) is only racing fairly but looks a place chance from the draw.

Suggested Bet: ATTACK ON COMMAND (1) to win.

Race 7

ONEONTHEWOOD (2) has a losing sequence of 21 but is racing well and had no luck here last week. He is drawn to get a nice run and should be right in the finish. MAJOR SPOILT (1) faced the breeze when a solid 6th in quick time at his last start and should give them something to catch if he holds up at the start. BAD ROUND (4) ran on well to finish 2nd to Athebascan here last week and must be considered. MUST BE NICE (10) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: MAJOR SPOILT (1) each way.

Race 8

UNWRITTEN RULE (2) ran a nice 3rd in 1.54.5 before beating a weaker field at Bunbury. He looks the likely leader here and the best of Hayden Reeves’ seven runners. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (3) has been unplaced at his past eight starts but drops significantly in class tonight and should be a big improver. ALLWOOD PEACEMAKER (10) ran a solid 2nd here two starts back and should enjoy a soft run on the pegs. MISS POCKET ROCKET (1) will get all of the favours from this draw and can be placed.

Suggested Bet: UNWRITTEN RULE (2) to win.

Race 9

RED OCTOBER (2) won three on end in quick time near the end of his last campaign. He has had 18 months away from the track and resumes here without a trial but will be hard to beat if anywhere near his top. INFATUATION (9) has won his last four starts in weak company and will be keen to win here to force his way into the Golden Nugget field. ROBB STARK (7) continued his consistent form when 3rd here last week but doesn’t win too often. BRACKEN SKY (6) has been placed at his last three starts and can be in the money again.

Tips: 2 9 7 6

Suggested Bet: RED OCTOBER (2) to win.

Race 10

LORD LIAM (7) won eight on end before working to the front from a back line draw when 2nd to ROCK TONIGHT (9). He is better placed here to use his gate speed and can bounce back into the winners’ circle. SPUD (6) disappointed at his return when 5th to LORD LIAM (7) but will be fitter for that run and looks the main danger. ROCK TONIGHT (9) was impressive in winning at Pinjarra and clearly has plenty of ability. TENNO SHO (1) has changed stables and looks a good place chance from the pole.

Tips: 7 6 9 1

Suggested Bet: LORD LIAM (7) to win.

Race 11

JASPERVELLABEACH (4) led throughout to win the Golden Slipper at his last run before a break and started from a wide draw at his return and ran on well to finish 3rd to Some Copper Beach. He is better drawn here and should give a great sight. MY SWEET DEAL (5) has won five of her seven starts and can take it right up to the boys here. SECRET OPERATION (3) finished just in front of JASPERVELLABEACH (4) at his return and must be considered. AL GUERRERO (2) led throughout in 1.55.3 at his last start and can give some cheek here.
