Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 30, 2025October 30, 2025 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 BOY BLUE (1) had trouble getting into the races in strong 3YO company at his last two starts but performed well. He has shown gate speed early in his career and appeals as the one to beat from the pole. SWEET PINS (9) led and was beaten into 2nd last week but he was forced to run a very quick lead time and he looks the obvious danger. SUGAR STREET (10) is racing well and looks a great each-way chance from his nice trailing draw. GAITCRASHER (8) was a solid first-up 4th here last week with the Go-Pro (look it up if you haven’t seen it) and should strip fitter for that effort. Tips: 1 9 10 8 Suggested Bet: BOY BLUE (1) to win. Race 2 RELATIVELY ARMA (1) has overcome awkward barriers to be placed in her last three starts. The rise in class here is offset by the pole draw and she should give a great sight. THE IRON DUKE (12) recorded two comfortable victories in moderate company before running a slashing 2nd in a strong field. He has to contend with a back line draw but should be fighting out the finish. THELITTLE MASTER (5) hasn’t had much luck at his two starts back from a spell and will be charging home if there is a solid tempo. SOHO MOONRAKER (8) will need luck from out here but can be in the finish at big odds. Tips: 1 12 5 8 Suggested Bet: RELATIVELY ARMA (1) to win. Race 3 COPY CAT QUEEN (5) led throughout to defeat Justcallmemiki two starts back before not being able to get into the race here last week. She shouldn’t settle as far back tonight and will be hard to hold out. BLAZE AWAY (1) has been unplaced in his last seven starts but should be a big improver from the pole. NATHAN STREET (9) crosses the Nullabor with good Victorian form but hasn’t been seen for almost a year so monitor the betting. TUALOU (8) was a strong Prelude winner a fortnight ago and should make his presence felt again. Tips: 5 1 9 8 Suggested Bet: COPY CAT QUEEN (5) to win. Race 4 NEVER ENDING (11) hasn’t been at his best this time in but the races haven’t been run to suit. This could be run at a solid tempo with the favourites working and he can be charging home at double figure odds. MISTER SMARTEE (6) has been beaten as a short-priced favourite in two of his last three starts but his efforts have been full of merit and he is a deserved favourite from the draw. MINSTREL (9) looked sharp when resuming with a soft win and he is capable of working in the run and still fighting out the finish. ARMA XFACTOR (3) led throughout and defeated MISTER SMARTEE (6) here last week and will give a great sight if he finds the front again. BETTER ECLIPSE (10) is having his first run in WA and will be dangerous from a soft pegs run. Tips: 11 6 9 3 Suggested Bet: NEVER ENDING (11) each way. Race 5 RUMBLE STRIP (1) was massive here last week when he did all the work and was only run down late. He has good gate speed and should give a great sight in a WA derby without a standout 3YO. ITS CONFIDENTIAL (3) has very good Victorian form and will be hard to beat if he handles the trip and Gloucester Park circuit. CHASE ME (10) hasn’t won this time in but he will enjoy a soft run on the pegs and can improve. TROUBADOR (4) was well-backed to beat Bettor Fortune last start but was crossed and never saw daylight. Deni Roberts has chosen him over the polemarker so he must be respected. SWEET ON LEXY (6) is another visitor that creates interest and he wasn’t far away in a 1.49.9. race last start but the distance may be a concern if he is used in the early stages. Tips: 1 3 10 4 Suggested Bet: RUMBLE STRIP (1) to win. Race 6 The jury is out with WONDERFUL TO FLY (1) but it will be in after this race. She has the speed to lead if desired and can control the race in front but hasn’t led throughout for over two years. I’m putting her on top but wouldn’t be diving into the figures quoted in early markets. LITTLE DARLING (5) was a strong 4th from the breeze at her last start and will find this easier. SWEET VIVIENNE (3) should either work her way to the front or get the 1/1 and will be in the finish under either scenario. PENNY BLACK (10) will enjoy a soft run on the pegs and looks a good place chance. Tips: 1 5 3 10 Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (1) to win. Race 7 CHIVALRY (8) followed a strong 2nd to The Iron Duke with a 2nd in a stronger field when he led. He is highly unlikely to find the front tonight but will run a great race from the breeze if he can get there without doing too much work. HER PRESENCE (6) ran on strongly to win in 1.55.8 here last week and should fight out the finish again. TANTABIDDI (2) should cross and has options from there and has been supported in early markets. HALE SAINT LOUIE (7) has ability and can figure if he gets the right run in transit. Tips: 8 6 2 7 Suggested Bet: CHIVALRY (8) each way. Race 8 JOLTED CHARM (1) is limited but she gets the job done and has won four of her last six starts. She should lead here and will give a great sight again. SIANGDI (2) was a narrow but strong winner from the breeze here on Tuesday and will be in the firing line throughout. ITSOKTOBEGREY (10) is drawn to get a perfect run and should be thereabouts at good each way odds. SAMMY SUFFARELL (11) goes up in class on his back-to-back wins but has a nice trailing draw and could be the one in this field with genuine upside. Tips: 1 2 10 11 Suggested Bet: JOLTED CHARM (1) to win. Race 9 IM CATEGORY FIVE (7) raced extremely well last time in and is clearly the one to beat first-up but hasn’t been seen in a trial for his return. IDEAL DIAMONDS (4) and SWEETER THE BETTOR (9) have fought out the finish of two events with not a lot between them but IDEAL DIAMONDS (4) has the barrier advantage in that battle. MISS BEJEWELED (3) is a consistent type who won’t be far away. VIVA LOST WAGES (5) and DROP THE ACE (6) can both be in the money with a bit of luck. Tips: 7 4 8 3 Suggested Bet: IM CATEGORY FIVE (7) to win. Race 10 FABULOUS DREAM (1) ran on well win here on Tuesday. She looks the likely leader tonight and should prove hard to catch. DELULU (2) was a slightly better run than the favourite when 2nd in that event and is an obvious danger. CAPTAINSHAVTIME (7) and REINETTE (8) are the best performed fillies in this race but have tough draws over the sprint trip. Tips: 1 2 7 8 Suggested Bet: FABULOUS DREAM (1) to win. Market Market
