He has a nice barrier tonight and appeals as the one to beat. ALCOPONY (6) has been placed in slick time at his last too starts and will be hard to beat if he gets the right run in transit. MACHS BETTOR (7) raced well in stronger fields last time in but has an awkward draw to overcome. ETON ROCK (12) is racing consistently and will be charging home if there is a solid early tempo. Tips: 3 6 7 12 Suggested Bet: FASTER THAN DAD (3) to win. Race 2 KIMBLE (1) has battled draws at his last two starts but is clearly the one to beat from the pole draw based on his previous form. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (10) has been caught in the breeze at his last three starts and can be a big improver with a softer trip here. POCKET THE CASH (11) has options at the start and won’t be far away if he gets the right run. WITHOUTTHETUH (6) is an inconsistent type resuming from a spell but would be a major player if he is close to his best first-up. Tips: 1 10 11 6 Suggested Bet: IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (10) each way. Race 3 THE MUSTANG (1) led throughout to win by 15m against a similar field here last week and should repeat the dose from the pole. DISCO UNDER FIRE (10) is drawn to trail the favourite throughout and looks a great place chance. CLASSIC CHOICE (12) has the second best form in this event but will be giving his main rival a big head start. ALTA RHETT (3) has been placed in his last three starts and can be in the money again with the right run. Tips: 1 10 12 3 Suggested Bet: THE MUSTANG (1) to win. Race 4 THREE RUMOURS (1) doesn’t have the class of her two main rivals but she is capable of carving out good sectionals in front and should give a great sight from the pole. WONDERFUL TO FLY (8) looks to have claimed the mantle as the state’s best mare but has a tough draw to overcome. EIGHTEEN CARAT (7) resumed from a break with an eye-catching 5th against the boys and looks set for another fruitful campaign. LET IT LINGA (2) is drawn to get a nice run behind the speed and can be placed. Tips: 1 8 7 2 Suggested Bet: THREE RUMOURS (1) to win. Race 5 TALKS UP A STORM (4) crossed to the front from this barrier when an all-the-way winner here last week in good time and will prove hard to beat if he finds the top again. DONT BOTHER ME NONE (1) did lead throughout from this draw three starts back and will be doing his best to hold up at the start. ARMA EINSTEIN (3) has won two of his last three starts and will be suited if there is a strong early tempo. MACHNIFICENT (7) warmed up for his first-up assignment with a recent trial win and will be charging home. Tips: 4 1 3 7 Suggested Bet: TALKS UP A STORM (4) to win. Race 6 LAMANDIER (5) hasn’t been on his best behaviour recently, galloping out in both stands and mobiles before putting up good efforts. He drops in class for this assignment and will be hard to beat if he steps cleanly. SEERYANFLY (11) has won his last two starts in easier company and will give a great sight if the favourite doesn’t find the front. AMERICAN BULLITT (1) is a consistent stand performer who should be thereabouts again. BELLEZZA NERA (2) has been placed in six of her past seven starts and can be in the money again. Tips: 5 11 1 2 Suggested Bet: LAMANDIER (5) to win. Race 7 STAR LAVRA (2) faced the breeze when a narrow but impressive winner over an almost identical field at his last start and is clearly the one to beat again. ROCKET CITY (5) ran on well to finish 3rd in that event and should be in the finish again. LORD TITANIUM (1) led when a 3m 2nd to STAR LAVRA (2) here at his last start and may elect to sit on the favourite this time. ALL IS WELL (3) was a held-up 5th in the same event and won’t be far away. Tips: 2 5 1 3 Suggested Bet: STAR LAVRA (2) to win. Race 8 BETWEEN TWO THORNS (4) won her last two starts before going for a spell and resumed with a solid 2nd to FLAMETREE (5). She draws better than her main rival tonight and can turn the tables. FLAMETREE (5) was an impressive all-the-way winner of that event and is the obvious danger. JACKIE DANIELS (1) was placed behind the favoured pair at her last start and should be in the finish from the pole. IMAHERO (3) had her chance when 4th in that event but can improve. Tips: 4 5 1 3 Suggested Bet: BETWEEN TWO THORNS (4) to win. Race 9 MANHATTAN MOON (2) followed an impressive Pinjarra win with a solid 2nd to TEN TO THE DOZEN (4) after facing the breeze and can turn the tables on that rival now that he has the barrier advantage. JIMMY ROCKS (3) finished a 23m 3rd behind the favoured pair and is likely to fill the same position tonight. DOUBLE THE ANTE (1) could sneak into the first four. Tips: 2 4 3 1 Suggested Bet: MANHATTAN MOON (2) to win. Race 10 XCEPTIONAL ARMA (2) led throughout to defeat an identical field in the heat and should have little trouble replicating that result. REMARKABLE ROCK (5) trailed XCEPTIONAL ARMA (2) when 2nd in the heat but won’t get as nice a run in transit tonight. THE SWINDLER (4) worked hard in the last lap when 4th in the heat and can be placed here. WORLD SECRET (6) ran on well to finish 3rd in the heat and will have to produce a similar performance to be placed. Tips: 2 5 4 6 Suggested Bet: XCEPTIONAL ARMA (2) to win. Market Market
